Thank you for the review. Pretty cool indeed. I have the LAUNCH 919X which I bought a little more than a year ago (August 2022). I find it quite useful and cool but my only problem with it so far is its inability to at least support the capacity of most AGM batteries available within the increment of 10 probably from 60Ah to 130Ah. My old battery was 90Ah that died recently and I replaced with a 100Ah capacity and then I found it difficult to register the exact capacity into the DME so the alternator could charge appropriately according to the rated capacity. Now all that LAUNCH 919X have available for AGMs are 70Ah, 90Ah and 105Ah. No 80Ah and no 100Ah, etc. I spoke with its customer service rep and he said he would have to advise his technical department to include more choices in the next software update. I hope they do. 😀

For an independent mechanic, a new vehicle is covered by a new car warranty which means that while under that warranty, the vehicle would covered by the new vehicle warranty for most likely 3 year, 36 month warranty. Eventually, the scanner would have to be updated or replaced after a few years anyway and old one sold or given away.. It could be updated as long as the price is affordable.

I have refilled the additive fluid on my 2009 Volvo V70 1.6 diesel EcoDrive, but the car is still warning that the fluid is low. I have tried clearing the fault codes, but they keep coming back. I’m wondering how to reset the fluid counter using a LAUNCH CRP919X. Could you advise on how to proceed?

Do you know if this scanner will allow you to put vehicles into service mode for the electronic parking break so you can replace the break pads. I just purchased one and I’m not seeing the function. Disappointing

What is the update fee after the free updates expire? Also, if you don't pay for the updates, will it still do bidirectional control and ecu coding?

I just got the launch 431x 919E, I've been looking for someone that can explain using it on a BMW X5 E70 myself. so far no luck. Their is no help, no even from the people that sell it. and I don't understand how to add modules. If you find any thing let me know :)
