Cruise ship RETURNS to pick up pier runners! Kauai - Norwegian - Pride of America - January 2023

I just wonder who they know for the ship to return. I have only seen this once and it had just started to pull away and it was about 13 years ago.

Perhaps they were on an excursion booked through the cruise line, and ran into a problem returning, such as a vehicle breakdown.

@@robertdennis3892 I have been on an excursion booked through the cruise company and we had wheel damage. Came back over 2 hours late and the ship never left the port. This may have been a different reason.

We were on that ship and saw that as well. Why did they return to pick them up? Inconvenienced so many pier workers!!

Agreed!!! My only guess was because it was the last port so it would have been more work for them to clean up 4 people’s stuff and leave it at the cruise terminal the next day - but that’s purely a guess because I was soooo shocked they returned lol!

If they were on an excursion booked through the cruise line, and the tour ran into some problem getting back on time, the ship would either be held, or other transportation arranged without charge.

@@robertdennis3892 Definitly not on an excursion...They called their names two or three times before leaving....I think they probably had kids onboard left behind and that is why they returned to pick them up. They were smug.
