So - are the iAsus speakers better than the JBLs in the Cardo helmet? We like the cruise vacation, but we are way overdue for a trip...
@cruisemansgarage5 жыл бұрын
I would say very similar to the JBLs but a better option for the Sena. The JBLs dont work that well on the Sena.

When I plug in a 3.5mm jack to my Sena 10s base it disables the hardwired Sena speakers. How do I eliminate the Sena stock speakers? Can I just got the wire? Do I just unplug the little clips going to the right and left speakers? Can I leave the stock speaker wire exposed after I unclip the speakers? Hope my question makes sense.
@cruisemansgarage3 ай бұрын
I would just disconnect them. Leaving them exposed should not cause any issues.

I am not sure if I should change my gold wing with the new 2018. The new one looks small and it’s not roomy anymore... I think if I change I will be regret.

Oh I don't know I think it's pretty meaningful BS. 52 degrees! I have a test ride to do today and I just want it be be warmer than 29 degrees. I use the Sena 20 headset with velcro speakers and mic. I like the speakers OK however I get a lot of wind noise on the mic. How do you keep yours so clear and wind free?

Real simple. Just plug the 3.5mm plug on the speakers into the jack on the front of the Sena base.

A little late to the party on this video but wondering if you've noticed any decrease in battery life on the Sena 20S when running the iASUS XSound 3 speakers? Don't imagine it would have any significant effect but read a comment elsewhere that this was an issue. Thank you!

I'm one of your newest subs, love the quality and detailed information you provide on topic. I'm currently looking at an 18 GW Tour, and have asked the dealer a question they haven't been able to answer. So I went to the source (KZbin) haven't found anything yet. My question is about trailering this bike, inside a toy hauler. With the new design front fork suspension, strapping the bike down, can it be done? I use a wheel chock but only trust it enough to dismount and strap my 1985 V65 Magna. Traditional fork tubes, 2 straps front and 2 straps rear, hold it while traveling. Dealer hasn't given me a reason to think I can do this on the new front end. Do you have any experience, wisdom to share on this. I plan to roll out in a few months and need to decide -- new bike, or not. Any chance you might do this topic as it's own video? Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
@cruisemansgarage5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can strap it down. It comes strapped down to a crate from the factory, so not sure why the dealer would not know that. To do it right, you should probably remove the Lower Cowls on both sides of the engine (5 minutes) and strap to the tip-over bars on the front. You can remove the plastic covers on the rear tip-over bars to strap down to those. also, you can run a strap over the seat, just use some towels to protect the saddlebag lids. However, you should check with others who have trailered these bikes just to make sure. You might want to reach out to Chris Caliente on Facebook because I know he trailered Wavy's bike.

@@cruisemansgarage ~Thank you for the reply. The discussion I had with the dealer was more specific to strapping down the front using straps on the front, or handlebars, that compress the front forks, traditionally. The new wishbone front ends have enough moving parts that I fear would wear prematurely if under a load from tie downs. Ultimately I'll need to decide if that is real and worth the risk, or devise another method to tie down as you mention. I dont have fb, and was hoping someone might have already conquered this topic on KZbin. I'll attempt to reach out to Chris. Thanks for the reply and idea on an option.

Same boat as you on towing a new wing. The front yoke above the front tire, people wrap 2 chokers there and run a strap from each choker to each front corner of the trailer tow hooks. I also will remove the front cover where the fog light would go and run a choker strap to each side and attach to the front corner as well. To secure the rear, I plan on running a strap through the wheel wrap around and come back to the corner of the rear of trailer. Then will run another strap from the other rear side of trailer. This should eliminate any chance of the rear of bike bouncing up and down and side to side.

That guy who left the negative comment is just jealous that he can't make a decent video and he can't get any subscribers. I knew about your other channel because you told us before. Me and my wife have taken ruffly 40 cruises and just go with the flow. Motorcycles are my passion and therefore I have a lot of subscriptions and the cruise ship thing is something my wife is passionate about. Stay safe
