Hi, What if the related HP motherboard replacement has serial number differing from OEM. My notebook powers up but is in the infamous Automatic Repair Loop. My HDD and Ram are good. Does the OEM install uniquely brand itself to original hardware? Any ideas?

on part 4 u mentioned that i shld enable secure boot and disable legacy boot then go to the uefi option and turn it off and only keep legacy on but this option isnt available if i disable legacy boot

I have ran into the problem with WiFi drivers not being installed by Windows but I did have them ready just in case. It can leave you between a rock and a hard place if you need the driver but can't get it!! Also some laptops may need a driver for storage during Windows 10 or 11 installation. The one for my Intel storage comes as a zip file. Just make a folder you can find and keep the name of it plain and simple. All the stuff you download can go to folders placed on the root of the drive. On my computer I will run into the problem of needing the storage driver or nothing shows up. I am just glad I knew what to do because I know people who would assume I am stuck there. It would appear to be that way too. One nice thing about that you can boot back into your old Windows and get the file since nothing happened yet. You could also use a separate computer to get the files with if you need to. You will just want a USB drive with space for them.

What to do first after clean windows install: install all windows updates or install manufacturer drivers (manual installation or using manufacturer software)?

One approach is to disable Windows update first quickly. Then use OEM's tool to fetch drivers. Restart as needed. Then re-enable Windows updates. And run it to find any additional stuff. Your mileage might very, one way might work better some of the time (but not all of the time).

It depends. If you're laptop has a compatible licence built in, it is expected to reactivate automatically.

Have you tried the default settings. Should be some Rufus guides online. However this guide is based on using Microsoft's own tool.

What about reinstalling win 10 when your laptop has a blue screen and says boot device not found, install an operating system. And Best Buy didn’t give you the reinstall disk.

If you follow the instructions the Microsoft site enables you to make bootable Windows Usb.

@@GreenGreenStore And doing it this way you won't get all that bloatware back too. I really do prefer reinstalling Windows fresh rather than trying to recover. It is the best way to be sure you are rid of any malware or viruses because they should not be there. I usually uninstall Office since I never use it anyhow.
