I'm pretty sure the OC Fairgrounds was the old Santa Ana Army Air Corps base during WW2. I know OCC across the street was part of it. My dad was sent there after the war while awaiting discharge as were thousands of other GIs. My brother and I both attended OCC. It was the Santa Ana AAC Base because Costa Mesa was not incorporated until 1953.

My favorite car was the red ‘69 Dodge Dart with the 340 and the black stripe at the rear end. Looking forward to seeing your ‘67 Satellite in a show soon.
