This was the BEST OC car show EVER. I am now retired from the hotel business & living in West Palm Beach, Florida. I got my 38 year hotel career start in OC, summer 1972. The first hotel I worked @ was the DIPLOMAT, the last hotel on the boardwalk @ 26th Street. I think it is now a Best Western. I also worked @ the Seascape on 16th Street .The last hotel I worked @ in OC was the Sheraton @ 101ST street which is now a Clarion Hotel. I went on to manage hotels all over the US. The smallest hotel I managed was the Ramada INN, 68 rooms, in Flagstaff, AZ. I t was my first hotel as general manager. The largest hotel was the 800 room Ramada Court of Flags, in Orlando, where I was the Resident Manager. Many memories along my 38 career but Ocean City has always had a SPECIAL place in my heart.
