Looks so yummy... And an unwanted suggestion for you.. You can try the same with adding carom Seeds(Ajwain) and Garlic paste (lahsoon paste) in the batter (any one of them or both).. In the Gujarat, in the Surashtra region they add these both nd that too tastes yummy.. And anything which is deep fried is always yummy😋
@aadtie56334 жыл бұрын
Not just in gujrat but elsewhere also.. it's a common practice..ajwain tastes good. People add jeera too. I personally add loads of finely chopped curry leaves and coriander along with sesame seeds. Fried crunchy curry leaves and coriander tastes amazing.

You can add 1/2 Tbsp of cornflour to the besan mixture, it will make pakodas even more crispy, and they will not go soggy soon. Good Job Done

Sir in your video of making Rui jaisa naram cake can we add water instead of salt and if yes on which flame and for how much time plzzz answer my question
Yeah I already make them. They taste very nice. It's just about little tricks here. First high flame and then medium flame. 5 minutes min to make them crunchy. Enjoy with tea, soft drinks :)
@cindrella18034 жыл бұрын
Instead of baking soda. To be same crunchy .We can add rice flour and corn flour in equal proportions like 2 tbsp each, with 2 table spoons of hot oil to it and mix with required water... This also makes the pakoda fluffy and crunchy.. baking sada drinks oil and not healthy while deep frying

This is the all time favourite rainy day snack of south indians called bajji, the way you call Harbajan Singh. Instead of soda you can add 2 or three tblsps of rice flour to make it crispy. You can use bread, raw bananas, brinjals, thurayi, green sitaphal or onions to make this bajji. You can also add finely chopped onions to the batter and make it the same way. Sooji halwa known as kesari in Tamizh Nadu, along with Bajji, used to be the menu in those days when the boy's family visited the girl's house to see the girl and ask her hand for marriage. You know, ladki dekne la rasm? Exactly 👍

thank you for the recipe. i want to know that is the batter same for any other vegetable pakora also? and i also want to know about the oil which we use for frying that after making a recipe , how many times we can reuse that oil for other things?
@CookingshookingIn4 жыл бұрын
The same batter can be used for other vegetables as well. Use the oil until it doesn't go dark. Once it becomes darker, avoid using it.
