Actually, Tomoe probably would’ve laughed her ahh off if she were in the room during the gorgons’ interview. From what I understand of the anime and most likely the light novels, Sophia isn’t a natural born hyuman, but a test tube chimera with a hyuman base that Luto made on a lark, with his own genetics as well, so that she is literally his daughter. Couldn’t tell you what the goal was, but he lost interest at some point and left her at a nearby orphanage. That’s why Sophia’s got this massive chip on her shoulder.
