I mean look at Zero Two’s perspective. She’s been called a monster for all her life and has been treated like one. Hiro was the only person (and that blue figure) who seen her as a normal person. So when Hiro called her a monster think of the thoughts going through her head. Imagine your whole life people been calling you something you aren’t. You meet somebody who finally accepts you only to turn back and call you something that you aren’t. Listen, Ichigo did have “good” intentions because she did want to protect Hiro. But when Hiro said he wanted to see Zero Two this whole event wouldn’t have happen because Ichigo only thinks of herself. Throughout this whole show you can see the jealousy in her expression each time Hiro and Zero Two are together.

Again it's partially 02 fall because they did give zero to the Benifit of the doubt and i going to let her see hiro.... however 02 that you ain't give them a chance to explain themselves that hiro simply left.. 02 with only confirming their suspicions about her despite giving her the benefit of the doubt. I like that he called her out here; not a fan of anime girls getting away with bad stuff just because they're cute. They had a really unhealthy relationship before episode 15 and it was necessary for Zero Two to realize her mistakes before they could become a healthy couple. Both Zero Two and Ichigo are right. Zero Two wants to be close the only one person she loves and cares about, the only person that ever viewed her as something else than a monster. In her eyes everyone else is trying to keep them apart, so she thinks that by destroying that obstacle she'll she her darling. Ichigo is also right because she wants to protect her best friend and crush from the person that harmed him days ago. I mean do I really have to explain why this is a correct cource of action from someone that cares a lot about the victim?! She wants to protect her friend and keep him safe. Personally I would do the same thing if a friend of mine was in the same situation. Ichigo is the leader of her team and has to keep everyone safe, keeping Hiro who's special to her is completely understandable. People always say "See it from Zero Two's pov" and always end up accusing Ichigo that she's wrong, she's a terrible character etc. Well I never hated her and actually agreed with her in almost half the situations. Hope this comment helps everyone that reads it to understand both characters and not simply Zero Two

I can see the points of both character however, the reason why people side with Zero Two has to do with the fact that we see her feeling regret for her actions, realzing her mistakes. Same goes with Hiro and the rest of the squad. Ichigo never has moments of doubt in the episode, always acting sturbbon and demanding, barely even consider ask Hiro why he wanst to see Zero Two and never consider the flaws in her actions. Even in the end, when she seeing Hiro crying after calling Zero Two monster, showcasing how her actions didn't help at all instead just hurt Hiro even more, she decides that this was time to declare her feelings for him, which comes off as just selfish. Having a overprotective character is fine but they need to have limits, otherwise they become anoying paranoid morons and will be hard later to given them a convincing redemption. Sadly this was the case with Ichigo

It was round two for the blue vs red oni(hiro vs zero two) the blue oni won but with regret. It wasn't anyone's fault. After all this whole stupid fight was a plot device for the picture book.
