I feel exactly the same, still don't know why, perhaps because of how of a beautiful love story it is, full of endless pain, hard situations and them wanting to spend the rest of their life always together, but couldn't be possible due to people always interrupting them and drawning them from each other. A story of an impossible love made true, it's just too precious and I can't wait for a new season to come out, just so they can live happily forever and FINALLY being able to have kids, since they couldn't in their past lifes. After all, they're even more human than anyone. God, this feeling of not getting a love story like this in real life hurts, even if it will hurt a lot, it's completely worth it. ZeroTwo x Hiro forever!!

My theory is that, while his memoies were wiped completely, either hers were too but more selectively or she somehow got them back. It's impossible to ignore all the hints she tried to give him since the beginnign of the series, but since he never responded to them she probably thought she mistook him for someone he wasn't (and luckily turned out to be for real, what an otp people). Then we get to their connection in Strelitzia and him seeing her memories. When he mentions the picture book she understands he remembers. Cue their (and our) tears. And that "I thought you were dead" argument is pointless to me. If she thought her darling was dead, she wouldn't have bothered to look for him in the first place and the comment itself was very off-handed. She definitely was referring to him being frozen in front of her. The hint in that scene was the fish, not the phrase.

Yeah, episode 13 was easily the best episode of Darling in the Franxx. Honestly, it's strong enough to stand on its own as a one-shot. There's more plot development and character reveal that happens in this one episode than the rest of the show's episodes. Plus, it also has the cutest character in the entire show--0:02 (as a kid).

I didn’t interpret it that way. The way the tears are flowing on her face looks like they have been for a while. To me I figured that it is due to the memories and that every time she fights to this extend she is reminded of Hiro and she also feels the painful realization that she may never see him again so although she is fighting her hardest she is full of sorrow that her fighting might all be for nothing.

Hiro/02 parallels Major/Violet from Violet Evergardens. Hiro/Major were the first people to treat 02/Violet kindly and compassionately, Hiro/Major gave 02/Violet their names, 02/Violet's feel their existence is nothing but for Hiro/Major.

ForTehNguyen .....Not really.... These two anime are literally released in the same season. It's most likely that both follows a similar story structure or idea. It's kinda weird to improvise the anime and parallel a new show, no matter how popular the new show is.

til this day that is the one episode I can not rewatch completely.... I've rewatched almost all the other ones but this one just breaks me in two... and I BAWL AND BAWL AND BAWL MY EYES OUT! The thought that both their motivation and drive all along has been to be with each other and be together from the get go just breaks me up.... I do not have enough tissue boxes to rewatch that episode.
