I'm doing this from memory so I may be off, but these I think were semi-big points that were missed In the Light Novel this exam is called the Zodiac Exam, and I think actually had 12 groups, instead of 8 planets (This is the only one that personally annoys me, because without each class getting 3 vips I don't believe Ryuen could've had enough information to figure out how the exam VIPS were selected, with 3 vips I think you could notice the pattern, but with 2 it'd feel very uneasy to go off of that) The first time the three girls from class C went to bully Kei, it's because Kiyotaka told them he thinks Kei might've been bullying Rika. It was Kiyotaka's plan to have Kei be bullied into rock bottom at the begining of this eisode, and had Hirata ask Kei to meet him down in the lower parts of the ship. Hirata told Kiyotaka about Kei's tramadic bullying, and he annomyonusly told the class C girls which is why they showed up with Rika to bully/ harass Kei.

@@aaditiyaupadhyay9347 well the adaptation skilled alot of monologue and things like that to keep the actions, it'll be hard for them to adapt 2 light novels in 1 season so that why they skip alot of thing and may modify a little bit the story. On the 1st season, it was way worse compared to 2nd season.

I think Ayanokoji's mindset behind this case is always prepared to trick and do something that other can't do. That part where Ichinose talking to Ayanokoji getting caught off-guard, was his plan all along. Using her as a tool.

Ichinose rang Kiyotaka, they got 'caught out', however Kiyotaka still isn't the VIP anyway. So, whoever betrayed and voted Kiyo as the VIP lost. However, Ichinose still knows Kei was the VIP anyway, which is shown in the next scene.
