As a subscriber and thankful person for everything I am learning from this channel, I just want to say: the proof is in the (forbidden) pudding.... when you have perfect hair, you can literally vacuum truckloads of shit for a living and still look cool doing it. You magnificent beast.

Great info man, every time we have had our tank pumped, they never clean it all the way. They always say that leaving some solids Kick-starts the bacteria. I always thought that was a crock of sh..! I always assumed they had other jobs that day and didn't want to fill their tank truck up so they could make more money on other jobs.

Awesome video as always. I myself do not use a crustbuster. I use a long spear that uses pressurized water to stir all the tank and make a smoothie same result as as a crustbuster. I think we as pumpers should explain to customers that there are different methods to get the same result. We all might not have the same equipment but the results will be the same.

Crust buster is excellent. About the only other thing I've seen done differently is where they "seed" the tank with liquid off the truck to reintroduce microorganisms and prevent and tank float after a heavy rain. Keep up the good work and education for the public!
@JuneNafziger Жыл бұрын
Usually pretty much all the micro-organisms you need are reintroduced by just taking a shit. If they were ever completely removed in the first place.

Love your videos brother, thanks for the help for us homeowners that don't really understand how these work, I'm learning more all the time. I am definitely going to look when they are done pumping before they leave and see how far they're pumping things down. Blessings

I did just as good a job cleaning tanks before crustbuster was made. Now, with one, it is just alot easier.

It's amazing how soil types change your septic system/ design. Even in relatively similar areas.

Brevard County! No CrustBuster here, we pump the tank down and backflow the liquids back into the tank mixing it up as it's filling the tank back up we then pump it from the top to get the solids that rise afloat from filling the tank back up, we then pump down the second time leaving the bottom of tank lookin nice with a lil bacteria(water) left inside, no crust buster needed.

I run an excavator for a company doing installs, we have 4 pump trucks and they have long paddles they use to stir the tanks, works but takes some muscles, i helped pump a friends tank that was not pumped in 27 years, no crust on top, the sludge on the bottom was solid, should have had a pressure washer, thanks for your videos, I'm sure you take the occasional $hit bath...lol

Am I right or wrong by saying. The benifit of using the crust buster is so great. Shouldn't it be made STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURE for all septic pumpers??? I don't think they would be expensive. And honestly I could BUILD ONE CHEAP!!

what's the best method to remove the crust (hair, wipes, etc!) from the buster?!? that's the worst part of the crust buster!
@PoorPumperSociety Жыл бұрын
My sewer hook and a razor. Still faster than raking it at the treatment plant
@jeremydeason3295 Жыл бұрын
@@PoorPumperSociety id like to some some videos of that? that's the worst part of the crustbuster got to be an easier way? I am going to get a pack for roofing razors with hook on them and try it and see if it's any easier. We let it dry out once to see and that was a mistake.
