Yes, CryoFX sells heating elements for the machines, as well as other spare and replacement parts: CryoFX.com and search "spark" Heating element www.cryofx.com/cold-spark-machine-heating-element-cold-spark-fountain-heating-element.html

I’ve used my machines a few times. They are fairly new. But they have a hard time heating up and don’t heat up to 500 like they should. You think it’s the heating element?

One of my machines keeps tripping the breaker… HELP
@djkaz42892 жыл бұрын
Is there a quick way to test the heating element with a multimeter? My machine is not heating, but I do not believe the heating element has gone out it shows just under an ohm resistance. If the heating element was bad I would assume that it would show open. Also what should the voltage be running to the heater? I am reading anywhere from 3 to 6 volts running to the heater but no more. This is a vivor brand spark machine and I would assume that the voltage going to the heater is reduced somewhat because the wires going from the main PCB to the heater PCB are fairly light. I hope that you are able to assist, thank you!

I have the same issue from Vevor with 2 fixtures! It won’t heat above 200°F. Do you have a solution?
@djkaz42892 жыл бұрын
@@silverfoxproductions6923 My issue was the control board. I was able to find control boards on aliexpress that, while not a direct fit, did work. I know the manuals on these are pretty basic, but I know there is a button sequence you can hit to adjust the temperature. I'll try to figure out how I did it and post

How many are you guys connecting to a single circuit?
@Cryofx2 жыл бұрын
Hi, this depends on machine power draw (watts). Amps*Volts=Watts (Also as W/A=V and W/V=A). Circuits only should support 80% load. 15amps*0.8=12amps available (with nothing else on the circuit). Therefore, if you have a 500w cold spark machine, and its on a 120vAC circuit, this equation would be: 500w/120v=4.1666Amps EACH machine is drawing. Then 12amps/4.5 (actual 4.1666 but added extra)=2.666 machines on the circuit before popping breaker. 3 Would work but breaker may blow and it is unreliable.
