You can't convince me this show isn't parody. It's literally a circus clown version of shark tank where everything that makes the show credible and real is flipped. All of the judges have 0 qualifications. The most qualified person was literally a woman saying "i understand this because i am a woman", who was immediately cut off the show. Their "tank" quite literally looks like a tank, or some type of trap room out of the movie "cube". They give no actual advice and seem to say either yes and no completely arbitrarily. The votes mean nothing, and half the products are essentially scams. There is no way this is not being billed as a comedy.

the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Rebecca Larryn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

The funny thing is, this was the only example I have seen that makes NFTs make some sense. All an NFT is, is a receipt. This would be the safest way to buy a ticket from a scalper without worrying about him selling the same ticket again and causing whoever shows up first to get the seat and whoever shows up late to get stopped at the door. Add on the fact that it is possible to add additional transactional fees for NFT sales, it means the venue, artist and original ticket seller will be able to take cuts from all scalping. While the users won't like it, more money going to the venue and artist would mean that they have an incentive to use this unknown platform. Then all it takes is one big artist to be greedy and all of the sudden every new town they put on a show will equal tens of thousands of new users. And I can imagine every single artist that had a bored ape would be greedy enough to use this system. Also, for the guy who started it, if the userbase becomes huge, he will be able to cash out very quickly and not have to do any work or deal with the fact that he knows nothing about running a business.

To be fair having a clear chain of ownership as well as proof of ownership for a ticket is very useful. Some companies already validate tickets by checking with the sellers, and some don't release the ticket until the days before the events but as someone who's been turned away at the door of a venue before, it's definitely a decent place to implement blockchain. It works for patents, land deeds etc as well but some things could just be a better, centralised system

On the last episode I was super convinced that if you "Swim" it basically means you want to join the product because you see flaws in the creator's product and you think you can mentor them and fix it up, which is why so many of the judges choose to swim when it sounds like they will sink based of their statement. They had footage on the right that looked like an opencv demo and a crazy info display on the left, it's super easy for those to just be totally disconnected. If it's real then honestly it looks really cool, but it seems like they spent way more time making it somehow involve crypto and enabling people to gamble than actually making the product

Offering mentorship instead of investment capital completely fucks the show's dynamics. The guests keep trying to make Shark Tank pitches for the money to get their business off the ground, and the "mentors" are always like, "Wait, you don't have any money? I'M OUT." If they had money, they wouldn't need mentorship. The mentors are actually asking for jobs at these companies, not offering investment.

The idea behind the last pitch I think is that either they broadcast a fight, or you stream a fight from a third party like ESPN, and their AI service essentially analyses the footage in real time. From its analysis, it determines things like how well a fighter is performing, how exhausted or hurt they look, how cleanly and accurately they're striking, and from that gives you real time predictions like the chances a fighter will be knocked down in the next round. I'm not an expert, but I feel like this would have a good application on the bookmakers' side if it works well, so they can update their odds in real time and maximise their profit margins.
