I can fix HDR and have already done so. In fact if someone wants to stack hardware based HDR on top, hit me up. So far people are lazy unless motivated by financial aspects. Its going to be literally me doing everything, and in a few more months time, im going to make Gabe Newell smile upon humanity as a worthy species to continue onwards to the next era of solar system development.

@@hansvanbrakel8487 I just brought raytracing to OG Final Fantasy VII. Ive been a pioneer in a pretty impressive way already considering the public domain. Im not going to even bother enhancing/publishing Warhead until I have a working and intended DX11 path. The only area ill tolerate half heartedness just because I have so much work, is color accuracy. Its close, but with the powers of colorgrading, you can tame the ramping of saturation that comes with mild reflectivity, PPFX SSDO, and HDR.

@@hansvanbrakel8487 Also would love to see more path traced AO done dev side, so the issue with effects passes going first before reshades treatment of the image allows you to ramp it much much higher. And you can just take the entire render raytracing calculations at a higher FOV than pure screenspace, while rescaling a lot of what the player is supposed to see. I see the reflections on the vehicle glass of the main character, but id honestly like to see more aggressive albeit more costly ambient occlusion that isnt essentially a hack.

@@hansvanbrakel8487 Also for whatever reason, in that reflection at least last I observed, the starting assault rifle failed to render. If im not mistaken the facial rendering digital foundry pointed out has already been deconsilized. If you look at Johns render of Half Life 2, you legit can tell his radius is highly unstable though. Even the pros make mistakes. Just like Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastereds HBAO, Far Cry 2's HBAO, The Witcher 2s SSAO, and to some extent The Witcher 3s ambient occlusion is all unstable garbage at the screens edges. I being limited to screenspace found a workaround. Multi radius. A developer can have a lot more fun with this sort of geometrically relevant antithesis to shadowing glow effect. Another thing multi radius allows you to get away with is close in, you can, depending on engine, taylor it to the first person gun, hand geometries, and you dont have to be as gentle in application simply because the, perhaps in game fog effect isnt at threat of being bled through. Its all the order of effect pass, and screenspace only that really limits the technology. Im also wondering if we could have raw lossless textures as cvar commands. I remember reading there was a way to force 3DC though only under DX9 even with nvidia hardware in the first Crysis. If the asset exists, a separate download would be very appreciated. Particularly as memory for graphics cards in general increases through time.

If your going to make crysis 4 do it from the ground up. Make it like the original. Make it a PC exclusive and do not create another console port. The original crysis is still the best game to date. Put Dx12 as rendering engine to avoid single core procesor overload, and get multiplayer to cooperate so then i will say this is *best* game of 2021 as right now because of my sentiments its on #3 place.

2 main cores for most of the logic. They opted for the developmentally efficient approach by dumping what they could on every other near idle core with a vulkan extension, kind of like dolphin emulator.
