If u look closely, u can see that he pulls the barrel up, just earlier when he starts to look to the left. They worked with several iterations of it for years, making something that's consumer-grade takes a lot of tweaks. Like a more "layman" GUI etc. Making it fit with other programs they (Valve) aren't using themselves.
