It looks so much like it has to be a TAS that I almost can't convince myself otherwise, any minute inaccuracies are so hard to that only the runner himself could notice them. I just love how in the middle of the hyperspeed madness there are these few smart and subtle time saving strategies, most obviously tripling up on the booster ramp towards the end. Yea, that era is completely forgotten now, unfortunately. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that valve made the community server browser harder to find for new players, and they replaced a lot of the game modes with mm versions but with limited maps.

I could've easily joined someone or if I hosted some random workshop map people from my friendlist which was made a lot by randoms in mm were joining. But lately I've seen no one playing anything else than mm/Faceit. Maybe it's only me and my circle, but it feels like people have less fun and just only spend their time in competitive in cs.

general question to anyone in the pro bhopping community: if routing maps to be so perfect and efficient, and recording time accurately is so important, how come most servers aren't very precise with their zoning? for example the start zone on here is I guess 16 ish units from the edge, while on another server it may be right on the edge , or even backed up further. does this not present problems with comparing times and make counting records to decimals redundant?

+Skrox575 unless the start zone is so far back that it necessitates doing an extra jump to complete a section, it won't affect your time overall. the only thing that would potentially affect times is a end zone being closer to the edge. the nice thing about this timer is that it comes with zones preset for many maps, so a lot of zones are actually consistent across all servers.
