This is pretty cool! I am reading an article now about PIR and this was very helpful in understanding the concept! It was cool seeing MMT actually be used and come into play! Great video Thank you!

Great video for explaining PIR on upper traps and levator scapulae, thanks -- Except, I was with you until the last bit about them being good to stretch for upper cross syndrome. You said these stretches would help rounded shoulders and forward-head posture, but wouldn't stretching the upper traps & lev scap make it worse? I thought they'd already be "overstretched and long" by that flexed, hunched posture. It's the muscles in the front that create head flexion that need stretching, as they've got used to constantly contracting and are "short". So wouldn't it be better to stretch the scalenes, sternocleidomastoid and pec major?

I have a dark feeling that some weird Dahmer stuff was going down in that room just after filming this.

1:25 - you were not placing resistance against his head-turning with your right hand. I think your right hand should have been on the right side of his head instead of the left.

Hello! I don't know what your name is, but thanks for sharing this video. I wish you actually performed a true massage or treatment sample for viewers to see exactly how clients are treated based on your words for techniques you use. Maybe in a new video? But your words and explanations are very well versed and helpful. Thank you! Well done!

Yale Kim Hey! I am glad you like the video. Check out my new ones. As for your wish, I did actually show you in this video how to perform it, I didn't hold the PIR for ten seconds for video purposes but I pretty much did it for you and explained step by step. This is how I would do it in the office, just be longer and for a few sets. Hope this helps, stay moving and stay healthy!
