Engine #640 is likely down graded from 6000 hp to 4400! Sad but…. Great yard work views here! Great video!!!

Ritchie Smith I'm not sure if it is continuous, 24/7, but I've seen them working, both day and night, but not on the same dsys.

This trailer yard was originally part of the Piedmont and Northern railroad, which was an electric interurban railroad owned by Duke power company. It ran from Charlotte to Gastonia, and also to Duke's power plants. It was ultimately sold to CSX. Much of the route parallels the CSX line

I was on the side of the road. Nothing they could say, besides, CSX people are good to photograph and video. As long as your not endangering yourself or them, they will throw they hand up as they pass by.
