@@pbcapri manuals fun but a lot slower on the track so really comes down to personal preference, ive owned both auto and manual ATSV with the same engine, manuals fun, but the auto is much faster

my ATSV has been 1.31 60 foot on all stock drivetrain, trans, diff, axles etc and 9.4@141 in the 1/4. same story with the blackwing though yes, these cars work very well on these alpha chassis and everything is very solid.

His name is Joe Adams. As far as the cost, the parts to make this power arent really crazy, downpipe. HPFP internals and custom tuning on E60 is about all you really need to get there powerwise. DP is like 1100, HPFP internals can be had for 340 bucks, he has some other stuff on the car that isnt really required to get to this level, cooling mods keep things more consistent Unlocking and licensing these cars is more expensive than previous generations so that can cost like 2,900 dollars for ecm/tcm unlocking, credits, and hptuners. I havent seen a single manual blackwing drag race, I went 10.7@130 tune only in my ATSV Manual transmission many years ago, so they can go fast, yes this is auto

Mate unfortunately you bought the car with the wrong transmission. All reports say the manual is a joy to use on the CT4-V BLACKWING and the one to get for the best driver involvement, driver engagement, driver fun. Who gives a crap about 0 to 60 times if the car is less fun to drive. SaveTheManuals

Thats really cool however this is not my car, its one of my customers cars and when it comes to drag racing, the autos are king, just the way it is. FWIW, I bought a V2 CTSV with a M6 transmission as well as my first ATSV, with a M6 transmission, I was the first to go 10s in a M6 V2 CTSV and am still the only M6 ATSV to go 10s tune only so yes I get it, M6 are fun, ive owned them, raced them, and set records in them as well.

I own that exact car but in a manual. That isn’t stock. Tuned going from 472 hp to 600 means a mod. Mine is fast but not like my C6 ZR1.

Nobody said it was a stock car , the mods are listed in the video and the description......it makes over 600 RWHP, which means it makes over 700 crank horsepower power wise, it is still running factory "stock turbochargers", this is the fastest CT4V blackwing in existence running the stock turbochargers.

also, yea a z6 Zr1 is significantly faster than a stock CT4VBW obviously 638 horsepower in 3,300~lb corvette vs 472 hp in a 3800~lb sedan, stock for stock. However a modified blackwing like we have here wouldnt have much of a problem with a c6 ZR1 going down the drag strip. I just went 9.3x@144MPH in the 1/4 mile in my stock turbo ATSV saturday, so these cars do have some potential
