CT70 timing chain adjustment cam for Honda ct & Z50 trail 70 mini trail

today Bear brought me a Honda trail 70 engine and it had a loose timing chain. today I want to show how to remove that slack without replacing the chain.

The reason Honda had the tensioner stop there is because it means your chain is beyond spec. A new chain is like $10 if you do all this work anyway just throw in a new chain it’s really easy. Otherwise there is some Actual good info and tips for tools and techniques for getting parts off. Great video for someone just starting work on their small engines

Actually it's a probably maybe 2-3 in before it drops out, but don't worry if it falls out you can just put it back in. Just make sure it's clean, not gritty. Thanks for watching bud. Have a great day 😁
