Starcraft II: How to Play Vorazun [Dark Templar and Corsair]

Starcraft II Co-Op Mission: Oblivion Express
I continue my commander tutorials with Vorazun. She has a powerful offense with Dark Templar clearing everything on the ground, and Corsairs fighting what are in the air. She is weak to splash damage, but this army has death recall to compensate.

Amazing video. I never thought to use corsairs to snipe the detection. I am an idiot. That said, man we can barely hear you. Tone down to volume and increase your mic volume.

Yes. This is why Nova players love it when they get paired with Vorazun

Is there a reason you don't go for defense or shield upgrades for your dts? I know they get a second life (at one hp) and I was under the impression that the shield upgrade would benefit them greatly.

Shield armor isn't useful if your DTs kill everything before ever getting touched. The only reason they would get hit is if there's some AoE spell like storm, and shield armor does not affect spells

I've stopped going DT corsair because I hate how long it's build up is. DT stalker is significantly faster, requires less gas, and is relatively ok if you're good with blink

Could you specify some sort of prority order in these videos ? You show us how you do it but it's too fast for me to spot what upgrades you get when, so figuring out what's a priority and what is an aftertought is a bit hard.

Can I suggest this. Play like you would normally play now. But rather than comment as you play, you comment as you watch replay. Top left can provide "priduction" tap to allow every one to observe what is being research and build. This way, he gets info he wants, and you don't have to slow down. Welp.... but this means you will have to spend time on both playing it and comment on it later on replay. So it is up to you :/

Why didn't I see him train any dark templars at all and by 6:34 he already has 13 dark templars? Is there any magical way for me to get free dark templars?

At 5:42 you can already see he has at least 4. He just warps 'em in with warp gates and amasses them early.

I go for dts and stalkers and trow like 8 dark archons to confuse those big ass waves and mind control some units works like a charm =)

@Ambrascet [Mazso] using dark pilons ofensively and with the help of the limited invulnerability shield stalkers have when they blink, you can mow down all air AI trows at you, while warping some lost units.

Ambrascet [Mazso] Not true, blinding cloud disables ENERGY abilities. Blink and shadow fury, your vorazun bread and butter, are unaffected.

Frank Castle Stalkers don't get invulnerability when they blink, they simply regenerate 80 shields over a short duration, and cloak. Alarak's slayers are the only "stalkers" that get invulnerability, and they get the phasing armor when they're attacked, not when they blink.

The DT/Corsair combo is useless against several enemy compositions, especially skytos and skyterran. You get slaughtered.

You get a big cloud of corsairs and everything in the air dies. Black hole removes armor, making corsairs significantly stronger so you can wipe attack waves without losing any units, even when facing skytoss tempest or skyterran

On the contrary ! DTs slaughter everything on the ground. There is only the aerial. That's good, Corsairs, with the help of a Black Hole, wipe out everything in the skies. What's left ? Absolutely nothing :D

Im not into Corsairs. They were trash in Brood War and they are trash now. You get way more out of Vorazun if you mass Stalkers with Blink with Dark Templars.
