Hi, I got more questions like this so I plan to make a video of the setup this winter. But first I need to clear up some space in my workshop because now with the boat in it I can't move around anymore. :D

EV technology is great! I've enjoyed having a high power 75hp Stealth electric outboard on my 17' bow rider runabout. Excellent choice for the type of lake boating we enjoy. We can go over 20 miles on one charge. The top speed is 27 MPH and the last time out, we pulled the raft for fun. See video at youtube: mark's gas to electric boat conversion. Go Electric!

That's a nice video. You have the setup that I wanted to build. Most of all quiet! Mine is not though. Something to figure out why. The reason I wanted to go electric was to have silent operation. I'm also not stoked about the 140 Amp draw. And the weight of the batteries. I think my boat is too small to carry enough batteries to get decent range.
