Thanks for the video, I did the same setup. Can I please ask you to explain how you control the speed of the two motors at the same time.

I put the 2 gashandles on a tube next to each other. Then I printed a lever which I clamped on the gashandles so that I could rotate both at the same time. Like in an airplane.

You need to have counter rotating props.

I know but I don't think it matters very much with this speed and power.

It's not as important as you would think. Especially with smaller motors.

Super!!! Max speed????

Super that you've tried this. If you want more speed i suggest overvolting. I've seen video's of these engines running 72V, but i think 60V would already be a significant difference and less chance of breaking things.

Yes that's the next step. I plan to get a more powerful controller and see how that goes. Also it's gets a bit warm so also plan to make it water cooled.

@@ctrlaltdude overvolting has the advanatge of more rpm. If your propeller pitch is such that at max rpm it will reach say 10.5 kph (with no slip), putting 10 motors side by side will not make it any more faster. If you have a 3D printer you could try with same setup but higher pitch propellers. Essentially like a higher "gear" in a bicycle or car. This can help if the motors are not yet close to the maximum amp draw. It means that they could likely maintain same rpm with more load.

That is so noisy for an electric motor... 🤣🤣🤣

Electric outside engine are junk. The battery you need to feed them and the time u can use it. Its compleet stupid . I stay with fuel. Easy to refill and move again. Than switch some battery .

I see your point, range is absolutely an issue with electric, but bring 1000w solar panels to the equation and the picture changes a bit. we need to improve and think about the future rather than quit and remove all innovation opportunities.
