BTW, after my father’s accidental death I was forced to learn many things about him that I wish I never had to know. This is a hugely awful thing to learn about someone she loved.

It’s brutal. I havent experienced this exact situation but a somewhat similar one and you rlly just don’t kno what to feel. And it hurts too like a death but the world has hate for them and it’s kinda justified but it just makes it feel worse. Wounldnt wish it on anyone I hate it.

It's called compartmentalizing, and it's for survival. You either allow yourself to feel the appropriate emotions, and suffer for it, or completely shut them off and detach. Healthcare workers do it all the time, despite dedicating their lives to care because they feel so strongly about its importance.

I can bet they wouldn't have turned him in even if she & family did know. I don't feel bad for her complain that she can never BE with daddy be again??? No......she does get to see daddy!! All the victims families NEVER get to see, touch, feel or love their murdered family again!! Then to imagine how they were killed, raped, butchered & dumped like trash!!! Yes, I have really NO empathy for this poor child!! She wants ALL the understanding & sympathy.......cuz she's the victim!! Yet.......never mentions ANYTHING about the murdered women or THEIR families!!!

2005 is when her Dad was caught, that's 14 years ago. She has not spoken out about it until now. If she was just after money, she would have done this a long time ago. Maybe this book was therapy for her, helping her move forward. Im sure this couldn't have been easy for her, in a sense, she is a victim as well. Tragic all around, for the victims whose lives he took, the families he destroyed...and his own family that he destroyed.
