I’m currently demoing the PRO Z 960S & I can tell you it’s probably the beefiest & nicest mower on the market for $13k. Some people might say “oMg DoN’T bUy CuB cAdEt BeCaUsE iTs OwNeD bY mTd” when they’ve never had the chance to demo or use one of these bad boy’s.

that deck has been used for years and i can see no change which means clumping still issue; exmark and scag and toro have that issue solved for long time now

Thank you for the very informative video. Being a long time Cub LT homeowner I am very interested in the Pro Z148S model and wanted to know if the swivel front end will ever be incorporated on the Pro Z100 series? I cannot justify the 500 series on our place but the Pro Z148S would be just right. Thanks again, Rudy.

I have a pro z 700 and love the 4 Wheel steering on steep grades. No other can come close to it if your mowing hill sides.

This sales pitch is absolutely funny to me. Went to the local CC dealer recently. Told Salesman I wanted the biggest machine he had with a 60" deck. No lap bars. Steering wheel only. I would pay cash on delivery. I wanted to demo it at a place of their choice, hopefully my place. They told me their parking lot was good enough. No grass to mow there in that lot. They didn't sell a machine either. Screw them.

Sounds just like ATV dealers, sure you can test drive any ATV you want in their parking lot...well shit my golf cart can do that. Just like a lawnmower, if I'm going to spend that much money on a mower I'd certainly want to take it for some test mowing as well...if they can't provide that yep I agree screw them. I bought a Cub Cadet XT1 42" with the Kohler 18HP engine its just a typical lawn tractor so nothing spectacular to have to need a test drive, but so far I'm very happy with it, but yeah in your case wanting to look into a machine you are/were looking for and not being able to give it a real mowing test screw them.

16cc pump on 900 series seems too small for it... it should be like 18 or 22cc pump... ive tried 16cc pump... failed in 2 years on mowing hills.... 30 degrees slope 7 acres of grass on it

If the mower industry really wanted to make their units more reliable they would fix those awful 1970's tech wiring harnesses. I know because I'm a dealer and I spend my whole summer chasing those issues. I bet at least 70% of what comes in my shop are wiring and electrical issues. And this is no knock on Cub specifically because everyone uses the same poor harnesses. Also the switches are the same on every brand and they all are cheaply made. Its not a question of if your mower will have an electrical but when it will happen. We get new units off the floor where wires are not pushed fully into connectors. Please for gods sake contact Dephi and have them make harnesses for you and better switches...automotive grade. It can't cost that much more. If you buy a $12000 commercial unit or some cheapy from Lowe's your getting the same grade of electrical components. Does not matter who made the mower.

Got brand new push mower for over 500 to mow a little spot to big for my rider any how first time i used it my blade fell right off big wast of money costomer service could care less be cause i dident use it enough wen i bought it woraty is up im shour. So nothing i can do might have a whole half hour on it junk

Center spindle failed 7 times on my 900 with 72” deck. Warranty claim was terrible, service was worse. Don’t buy. Go deere.
