My Aolong V1 was a very sad story. I had my cubes out on a table at a comp so people could try them out. A younger kid who wasn't being overly rough on it popped out a piece and lost it. The mom was super apologetic and gave me $15 to compensate for breaking it, but by this point, they were already out of circulation and there was nothing I could do.

woah that was in worse shape than I thought! The person I got it from definitely didn't mention the replaced edge -_- I knew if anyone could fix it up nice it would be you, but just from the few solves I did I wasn't expecting it to need that much work lol.
@cubeologist426 жыл бұрын
Jhahoua Yeah it was just normal wear and tear, just a lot of it haha. And thanks, it actually turned out better than I thought it would. Thanks again for the puzzle!

Rip aolong v1 edge. But you can still buy the spare parts from lubix website I believe. Just go to spare parts, Moyu, and select aolong edge
@cubeologist426 жыл бұрын
Galcor I don't see that option on their site.
@jaeminahn35366 жыл бұрын
Really? Go to lubix, then go to shop, un modified, go to parts (it’s in the same box as cube brands) then scroll to Moyu. The option just says Aolong but below that there’s a Aolong v2 option and Aolong Mini option so I’m assuming that they have v1 parts... hope this helps!

How is it possible to just replace an edge piece with another piece from the V2 without it being noticeable?
@cubeologist426 жыл бұрын
The geometry of the edges is basically the same. The main changes were in the corners.
@mathieuhudon59966 жыл бұрын
Ahhhh makes sense! because they didn't want to touch the edges since it was a very popular cube, but they wanted to make changes to the corners following Feliks's DNF? I only started cubing a year ago hahaha I never had an Aolong
