The pottery sherds were renamed to sherds to be more accurate to archaeology! While *SHARDS* refer to broken pieces of glass, *SHERDS* refer to broken ceramic pieces!

Instead of filling the entire section with water for the cold ocean sherds, how about just a “water doorway” so to speak? Could just have a one block deep waterfall coming down from each of the frames around the outside that you’ve already built! That way it would give the impression and feel of entering the ocean, while not flooding other areas, as well as still keeping the vision and mobility of being outside of water that the museum would benefit from. :) Another great episode Cub! This museum has easily been one of the best builds of the season, and just keeps getting better. With all the amazing projects from everyone this season; it truly is a testament to your creativity with just how much the museum has impressed us all!

Within archeology and related disciplines, a distinction is actually made between "shards" and "sherds", the latter being a modern abbreviation of "potsherd". "Shard" refers to fragments of glass, whereas "sherd" refers to fragments of clay and other pottery. Hope that helps!

For the Warm Ocean Ruin exhibit. Instead of a blank standard pot, it would be really cool to do what some others have said, a suspicious sand block with an armorstand Sniffer Egg coming out of the sand. And yes, i wish Sniffer Eggs wouldnt hatch ontop of non soil/sand/gravel blocks, such as sandstone so it would blend in with your build but not hatch...

It’d be cool if the Sniffer egg could be prevented from hatching simply by placing a block on top of it (as a Snifflet hatching with a solid block on top could be prone to suffocating). That way, you could have standalone display eggs with string on top or, if you’re like Grian, you could have a dragon egg on top of a sniffer egg to make a nice lamp!

Wanted to chime in here about shards and sherds. There is a difference between the two. A sherd specifically refers to broken pieces found in an archeology dig. Where sherds are shards, shards are not always sherds. Like squares and rectangles. In this case, Shard is accurate, but sherd is more accurate.
