My good friend Fie, her best doggo friend was a French Bulldog, Fie would let it and other puppy Frenchies chew her tail to blood. Walking Fie was a challenge, but me and her soon found a grove, and i could even walk her off leash.

@@brigitasehgal2937 the Dog Whisper says you still.need to walk your dog. He would scold owners who had zoomy back yard dogs and owner didn't also walk them. BUT I think he'd be ok with this dog not needing a walk.

A friend of mine had a very large English Mastiff who lived adjacent to a pasture. One day, the cows in the pasture lined up at the fence and starting "mooing" loudly at the dog, basically intimating that she was on the wrong side of the fence! That dog was so large that physically (like Israel to to Barrett) she had more in common with the herd of cows next door than to other dogs in her own neighborhood! Though my friend's mastiff never cultivated a friendship with the cows like your Great Dane did with Barrett, your vlog instantly reminded me of that very fond and funny memory. My uncle had a beautiful Great Dane named Cindy. They lived on a ranch and Cindy's favourite thing was to go check on and feed the cows. She'd race and jump over the truck tailgate into the box every time she heard my uncles truck keys jingle. As kids we used to ride Cindy like a horse. She was such a happy dog.❤

My daughter has a Great Dane(Edger). I was at her house grilling 2 beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner. Edger was outside with me, but he stayed away the whole time. I turned away from the grill for less than 5 seconds, I turned away back around and one of the tenderloins is gone. Edger had one, and was trying to figure out where to go with it. I yelled at him and grab it out of his mouth. He was able to grab a chunk, but not to bad. Tenderloins aren’t cheep, so I rinsed it off in the basement sink and threw it back on the grill. I told my wife and we decided not to tell anybody. It’s been 12 years and we finally fessed up this Christmas.

When I was little, a friend's parents had a very big and friendly Gt Dane We used to ride him bareback which he was completely happy with. No gallop, only a canter. Lovely memory, the only Gt Dane I saw as a child, still very fond of them.

My sister had a horse (full size quarter horse) I used to pal around with & bring him beer. We were such good buds, he could be on the other side of the pasture & I would yell his name & he'd come running to me. He wouldn't do that for my sister & she'd get SO mad. I told her that if she started treating him as a friend instead of a an object to sit on, he'd probably start responding to her better. I really miss that horse.
