@Jermain Roberts What does white power have to do with using notes? I'm more of a white equality type dude... no one race is better or worse, or more or less worthy to celebrate their ethnicity than any other. Whether you're white, black, brown, or some rare genetic mutation, I think it's good to take pride in being what you are. Otherwise, just one demographic will take pride in themselves and walk all over the ones who think there's something shameful about their ethnic background.

Type 2 and Turquoise are science fiction. It's comparable to the utopia visions that happened around 100-110 years ago. Then communism & nazism came out & they failed. Somehow the utopian dream always seems to start/finish with mass genocide.

@shitmandood
@shitmandood 5 жыл бұрын
@@iuliusursut2755 Yes, but it's STILL science fiction for jet packs and flying cars. And it will _remain_ science fiction. Some things are simply not coming. Communism didn't come. After it spread in Russia, Stalin took it away, taking it back to Dictatorship Classic. I wonder how long real communism lasted..a day? There's no Turquoise and since I've been educated here on what enlightenment is, I'm fairly certain that there are no methods for obtaining enlightenment. In fact, it looks to me that the "workaround" is to drive yourself into psychosis & then when you come out of it, they're saying that is the enlightenment. Whereas to me, that's simply the relief that you survived your psychosis. Most people taking that trip down to the bottom, they probably kill themselves. Like that Avicii documentary. He had a mental breakdown, he had access to all the help he could get, and yet he's dead now at 28. Whereas if you don't actually fuck with your brain, you're not going to drive yourself to psychosis. So there is no really no way Turquoise can get here, if enlightenment is part of that package. Impossible.

I have the irrational feeling that life is just a dream and shouldn't be taken seriously. I cannot explain it but I feel even my everyday life is just a hallucination created by my nervous system and senses (receptors). When my receptors are destroyed the hallucination will end I suppose. Then there will be no more me, no more ego until I get new receptors if this ever happens. And the best part is that I don't have to try to escape from myself because I can't even if I wanted. My solution is to embrace my fate even if it is physical and ego death. If the true self is without form and therefore cannot die that's fine too. There is no point to blame the world or myself as a part of it. It is just the way it is. Nothing can be done and nothing cannot be done. Even progress is hard to see and be noticed. It is hard to see if our path and choices are right. It is hard to predict how long our systems will survive because to evolve you must first evolve. The more you analyse the "right" decisions, the more you doubt, the more you worry. Overthinking drives me nuts sometimes. My relief is that I feel that everything will be fine even in the worst case scenario. Because I cannot really control my destiny, not really. I may have the feeling that I am in control but I am not. My conscious control is so limited that I cannot even take it seriously. I cannot control my thoughts. I don't know what is going to be my next thought. I don't know what is going to be my next feeling. It just happens. I cannot explain why and how. It just does. And I must leave it like this because I feel I get in my own way. Anyway, I shall continue my observation.
@ActualizedOrg
@ActualizedOrg 5 жыл бұрын
That's only half the story. The nervous system itself is a hallucination. Any grounding you posit for reality will turn out to be a groundless hallucination. Because reality has no ground. But it's not enough to understand this intellectually. It must become your living experience. It is no good to think reality is a hallucination but then get upset or hurt when someone steps on your toe or calls you a bad name or refuses to have sex with you. You must realize that all of your emotions and desires are also hallucinations until you let them all go and are truly free and peaceful. Be careful not to intellectualize such profound truths.

I agree with you on science... What really ticks me off in science is when they make "factual" statements about things that cannot possibly be known for certain, like how the earth was formed or that there was a Big Bang. I'm all for studying such things and trying to get as close to the truth as possible, but I wish they would present their theories as honest theories instead of facts.

@drkshea2430
@drkshea2430 5 жыл бұрын
Well, they don't just willy nilly say things like a big bang, there is a lot of research and thought that goes into it. And evidence. Evidence that you can observe isn't the only type of evidence. You can get indirect evidence as well, such as the cosmic microwave background, and other things that come with the BB. Still, they can't be certain, but most don't say they are certain... they say they believe quite confidently it was a BB. Some may assert they are certain, but then again, i wouldn't think they are good scientists. A good scientist will give you every angle. They are a lot like LEO in that sense. I have some good scientists in my family, and i would say they're good bc they've always taught me the other angles and not just what we know. The ideas we have of the BB and how the earth formed (i know less about this one), are probably the best when you consider the indirect evidence. They answer more questions than not.

@shitmandood
@shitmandood 5 жыл бұрын
Theories are based on observational facts. It's not like they just made it up, such as the shit you hear about distance Reiki, playing with energy, or energy transmissions, & all of the psychobabble you hear incessantly from the New Age Community. Those aren't even theories because there are no facts!! There's absolutely nothing there that will prove any of it works!! Electricity was a theory!! Gas and cars were theories. Even Climate Change is a theory, but some of its facts aren't as good as they should be.
@ShaneCooley993
@ShaneCooley993 5 жыл бұрын
shitmandood but see, even the notion that these theories are based on observable facts, is just a theory itself. Until you observe all of the observable facts directly for yourself, with your own two eyes, you can’t say otherwise. If we’re being true to the premise of science that is.

To see beyond the trickery and the illusions of life, to understand the deep meanings of things and to see Exactly what's in front of your face that you re too blind to see it ! ..

I have watched mamy of Leo's videos. He is really awesome, very intellectual. I guess what I have come " know" or not "know" anymore is I just take with me what resonates and leave what doesn't. I took some shrooms to work toward pulling me out of suppression. They took me to the deepest form of sorrow I have ever felt. I could have just laid with it, but I didn't, it was that painful so I hit the red wine. My spiritual awakening left me solo, meaning my family isn't together anymore. Nor do I have any "real life" friends who can grasp any of this. There was a point when I was so excited to be awake that a simple thought could bring in a phone call or cause me to run into a particular person I had thought of. My friend practices long distance reiki on me and said my crown chakra is too big. My ego likes this but then I remember Christ saying we should be equally yoked, I think that must be what he was referring to. Being a half ass Pentacostal nearly killed me. Ultimately, I am seeking healing. And I sit here causally smoking my Native American cigarette wondering "Is it the belief that these are not healthy for me" or is smoking not a good thing? No need for an answer. I do not think I have accepted myself entirely or I would not feel my solar plexus expand and contract so often. - in the belly of a whale. How do I get out? Who are some spiritual teachers who are funny. I would like to laugh again...

The whole thing that brought this beginning awakening phase for me was seeking help for my nephew ( who grew up with Pentecostal faith) His depression calls him to die) We both are empaths. Are all awakened people not empaths? My love for him made me step out of the western medicine trap and open Pandoras box. Even though, I was in the same boat. I've been studying quantum healing lately. I like to play with energy. I do know if one does not change their mind set that they will be back in the same rabbit hole with illness of their vessel. I do believe western medicine has it's place but we have the ability to heal most disEASE in our own body. I studied every cultures way to heal holistically. Even though I was also swam in sorrow most, if not all my life. It took my love for him to shake me. My visions are awesome, picture perfect. Without drugs.. However, I'm still upset about my family being apart. It caused the backslide. I still grieve. It's been a year. That was all I wanted in life..my family. I hear let go, let go..I would like too.

None of this makes any sense. The only part that seems to be a catalyst to your problems were: you took shrooms. If taking shrooms means you destroy everything around you in order to take a chance you might "awaken", it's ridiculous & doesn't make even a lick of sense! This is all I'm seeing with shroom takers. It's a survival structure & relationship destroying substance. Further, nobody is going to understand what you're talking about. Playing with energy, distance Reiki. Really? This is all Cult Shit very much like the satsang or viewing photos of people to spot entities, claimed to be cult techniques for one of the Internet groups that we've discussed already in the comments section that I will not name. When I hear or read this type of lingo what comes to mind is: Psychosis. A reality break. It's incredibly dangerous.

@@shitmandood , shrooms break inflammation in the body. Which is a source of disease. My nephews brain does not absorb serotonin. Why? Inflammation. Shrooms are a wonderful catalyst for artists with the visuals they come back with. Just because you are against something, does not make it wrong for others. I appreciate Jim Morrison was a drug addict. His music would have sucked. I can and do play with energy. @@angelajohnson4360 That's exactly what it is. Where is the double blind study that someone can tell what the hell a chakra is or a "Reiki transmission" from ordinary nothing? Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds? Such a study would be random, like trying to guess which card is going to be flipped up in a shuffled deck. And wrong on Jim Morrison. If he didn't die young, we may have had more great albums to listen to. It isn't the drugs that create! Why not the Stones or David Bowie? Fortunately, they survived, _reformed_, and continued producing great shit! This whole pro-drug culture movement just shows you how ass-backwards you've gotten it. There are even studies now linking marijuana with mental illness. That Reefer Madness movie, once a joke, now looks like it's becoming prophetic. All I see is a woman that is on a race to the bottom. Risking it all, with possible suicide or drug overdose paths...to what purpose? Happiness? So the solution is to go to the bottom of life to find it? /end transmission

Last minute of this episode: "All you've got is this one life" Radical implications of oneness episode: You will experience/have experienced EVERY possible life, position, perception etc. that consciousness can produce, and it's infinite. That heavily implies reincarnation. So which is it??? What am I missing?

Hearing the story about your dad and him calling the car rocks reminds when I was studying Comptuer science everyone hated macs. I joined the herd for a while. Calling them fancy paper weights. Then I finally started using. Macs for a job. I instally fell in love with the Mac Os. Now I own a Mac and would like to use only macs. Point being first hand experience is king. Thanks again Leo!

I use both Mac and Windows. OS X (like Mojave) is interesting, but its newness has sort of worn out on me after 10 years of use. The look & the feel hasn't changed. When Windows 10 came out, it felt like a breath of fresh air. Since it was free, I upgraded all my pirated PCs to it & haven't had any issues. I still have a lot of things I use on my Mac, so I can't get rid of it though. If my MBP died, I'd have to get another one. I just wouldn't want to spend a lot of cash on it if I can help it.

I've been programming since I was 13. I was poor and had to build my computers from spar parts. I was stuck on windows while others were on windows 7. Later I got better machines and just used Linux for a while. No doubt windows has some great programs but to me Mac Os is a clean user friendly version of Linux. In the audio industry (which I am going to school to be a sound designer). Macs are usually the standard. I use logic pro x on a daily basis and so far it is the best daw I've ever used. If I need to use windows I can just boot my Mac to a windows image with bootcamp. I don't play games. The Adobe suite works well on mine. At my job we use Mac Pros and most of my job is doing back end web programming which I have no trouble doing on the machines. The terminal is great. Honestly most of this is abritary cause all I care about is making art and I am forever grateful for the imignatiom machines we call computers.

I caught myself attacking the Bible and arguing with the Bible beaters, which that name itself is a demonization term. I realized I should concentrate on my experience and madness is trying to control and manipulate other experiences. Easier said than done as Ego is a pro and always looking for ways to fuk your shit up. But Ego has a job so can’t blame it - the problem is the manager and how they manage their experience. Nice video Big L. Another note. Did my Peru retreat. Amazing experience but still trying to process it. Might take multiple weeks to process. 👊🏽

I have only just come across your work Leo, that is because sitting in front of a screen is my least favourite thing to do, research is mainly personal for me and I was really glad to come across you... I am always getting into trouble because of my independent thought and how this goes against the herd mentality, I ask too many questions that disturbs the status quo of group psychologies. The us v them is so damaging and stunts growth. The language is created so that only those inside the group can understands, which creates more separation and division even between families... I keep on wondering why I would put myself in the position of being inside a cult like grouping, what have I learnt? Nobody wants to admit they have been involved in a cult like programming but my power is not to deny a thing. You also know your in a cult when you decide to leave and life gets a little dangerous. You are followed, targeted and your very truth gas lighted from you, you are bombarded with fear that does not even belong to you and that self-righteousness is a yukky projection, but I refuse to be a victim... Anyhow. Thanks Leo, I need things real to cut through the crap.

This is very informative Leo. Thank you. I just want to share my 'insight' on why lower based frequency emotions are very effective manipulation tool is because there are 'entities' that feed off of those negativity. Those were created by us in the first place: we converted our energies into negative thought patterns that will create negative emotions, thus the existence of those, (the shadow). Hence the term, it remains in our 'field'. I was in meditative state for two consecutive days. I was extremely peaceful, mind was silent effortlessly and my metabolism and heart rate was slow, yet I was extremely aware and alert. It was pure perception. Then due to untoward circumstances, the momentum was lost. I experienced massive headache and backache as well as depletion of energies afterwards. Then I realized it was a backlash. I observed and intuit that during those meditative state, I was starving off my shadow of lower frequency energy, and when it found an opening in my area of thinking, it came in aggresively. The term spiritual integration therefore is nonsensical. How can you convert negative into positive? It doesn't. It would only cease to exist when it no longer has a supply of the same energy.

@@drivingbro that term, vipassana lol what a coincidence. I just happened to encounter that word today. It was a samadhi for me and not just merely meditation? Everything was too slow. Really slow lol. It was fascinating because the moment I would intentionally close my eyes to meditate, disturbance would occur somewhere out of nowhere. It was like there was a force trying to hinder my state. What is your direct experience? I want factual and practical information not theoretical.

@@drivingbro thanks. But this is what I realized in this journey. It should be done spontaneously. The moment I prepare for it, intellectualize and analyze, nothing happens. I observed intellectual approach only bar my supposed success on experiencing. The inquisitive mind is difficult to transcend when I practice it constantly through researching hehe. I realized, experience first (conflict or disturbance) happens then insight or knowledge follows afterwards.

@@jJust_NO_ Hi, yes, Vipassana meditation teaches you to observe this process of self-replication found within forces within your mind-body (this applies to both positive and negative!), due to the default state of the mind which is to react to mind-body phenomena. It is precisely this reaction (craving/aversion, in Pali it is Sankhara, a term commonly found in eastern religious texts and teachings about spirituality) that further replicates whatever was the object of reaction. As Leo said, too much good will become bad in the long run, and will eventually lead to suffering. I do recommend you doing a 10-day Vipassana sitting. It was an eye-opening experience for me and it from my perspective it is designed so that you reach this deep meditative state you described in your original post, for as long as possible, but also easing the inevitable return into your 'default' state of being that you came into the retreat with. Do be careful though, as there are certain dogmatic and ideological cult dynamics, especially in the discussions that happen in the evenings of each day of the retreat. (I was thinking about Vipassana as Leo was talking about the subcomponents of cults.) It is not a true cult however, though it has the potential to become one. Either way, the technique, as taught by S. N. Goenka, truly does bring benefit into one's life.
@_TZEOL
@_TZEOL 5 жыл бұрын
@@jJust_NO_ Also, regarding the insight that direct experience is the originating point of all knowledge is very true, and I can attest that Vipassana meditation is in line with this - it encourages you to observe your mind-body without meddling, effectively reaching the deepest part of your most immediate moment-to-moment experience, no matter what it is that is being experienced.
