Let’s be real, Lita revolutionized woman’s wrestlings in the late 90s/00s. She’s the reason the division got better and more popular and had amazing storylines and inter gender matches. Her matches against Trish and Lita and Ivory were great (fun fact her PPV match against Ivory wasn't booked until the day of and Molly and Ivory shot the match as it was happening) and her mic work was some of the best. On top of all of that Molly was putting in extra work coming in early to work with women like Torrie and Trish, and helped Lita get back into wrestling. Molly also paid for Beth's wrestling training and helped get Nattie looked at and later hired.

So Melina and Jazz should've been higher. I think these three women have contributed so much to the title, and for certain people to be ranked high (*coughs* Michelle McCool, Rockin Robin, and others) is crazy to me. Melina held the women's title down during the late ruthless aggression era and was one of the few divas that could actually wrestle during that time. (Iconic matches with Beth and Mickie). Jazz contributed so much to the women division during her time and walked into wrestle mania 18 as women champ again's Lita and Trish and won! She was a very dominant champion and contributed a lot to the division.

Mickie James was so good. Her rivalries with Trish, Lita, Melina & Beth were all amazing. Trish and Mickie set the bar for women's matches at mania that wasn't touched for a decade. Their rivalry was really the last well thought out storyline (which was mickie's idea) the women have been given to this day. Retired Lita in a great match even tho they did her dirty at the end of it. Melina and Mickie should have had a women's championship match at mania I believe if they were given that big of a platform with good amount of time they could have outdone mickie's match with Trish. Beth and Mickie also should have had a match at mania hell could've thrown Melina in there to. Their match in London was the first time the women's title changed hands there. I hate the piggy james storyline and honestly didn't want her to come back after they fired her after it. But it did give Mickie the quickest women's title win at a ppv so take the history when it's made I guess. She is a future Hall of Famer and I honestly can't wait for the day she is inducted.

Fun Fact: Rockin Robin defended the (now defunct) WWF Women’s Championship against the next lineal champion Alundra Blayze (wrestling as Madusa) on an independent show in Ohio on May 4th 1991. Obviously it doesn’t count as it’s not recognised by the WWE but she was announced as WWF Womens Champion and she had the belt in her possession and it’s quite cool to think a Rockin Robin vs Alundra Blayze match actually happened 2 years after Robin left the WWF and 2 years before Alundra joined the WWF.

You should do a Ranked on every Knockouts Champ and/or every current member of the Knockouts roster

It’s unfortunate Debra was never actually allowed to wrestle after receiving months of training with Chyna. She was made to cat fight, I kinda wonder if she would have been allowed to actually wrestle if she would have had another title shot since she had a months long feud with Ivory already.

Minor nitpick... Wendi Richter did return to the company as she turned up on an episode of Raw in 2012 (leading up to Raw 1000) in a segment with Roddy Piper, Layla, Cyndi Lauper (who SHOULD be in the Hall of Fame) and Heath Slater

I was going to complain about Lita not being higher when I saw her at 5, but I can't really complain about the top 4, aside from Moolah being an absolute shit human being. Great list.

I would argue that the Diva's title & the current Women's title(both versions) are the same lineage.

@ WWE calls Charlotte a 10 time champ 4 Raw, 5 SD and 1 Diva's title, so the Raw Women's title and Diva's title are 2 different belts

@ Going by that logic you'd say the WCW Championship and World Heavyweight Championship lineage is all within the WWE Championship. Which no one would agree with.

Question how is Stephenie ranked so hi when she didn't win a match without dx interfering. She should have been down there with harvey.

Stephanie is one of those characters where it is because of solely her cheating, conniving character instead of being a good performer/wrestler.

No Trish Stratus ant the greatest of all time she lost the title 7 times and she only won the title 7 times because of her looks and not her skills and moves they where shocking and shit !! Lita and CHYNA where the greatest WWE women's champion 🏆 chyna is the only woman In WWE history to be a Undefeated WWE women's champion no one could beat her and Lita didn't need a title to make her the best she already is the greatest of all time alone side chyna !!❤️❤️

Hold on. Lita at the front of the graphic? Isn't she usually outcast as the stepchild of wwe? I mean, its laughable that up until 2004 lita vs steph was touted as "lita winning in the raw main event" then that history was erased in favour of giving a fake milestone to Trish. The fact that they didn't transition Molly into baby face at the end of 2004 was daft. Beth phoenix was literally the entire division during her run. She made Maria kanellis and Kelly Kelly look like something more than an in-ring mannequin. She was phenomenal. In my opinion she should have been in the position that the 4 horsewomen were.

@11:30 I've always suspected that might have been a shoot, but I've never seen it discussed. It really did look like HBK was out there to get the belt off Sable without her knowing it was going to happen.

I have a DVD of the match between Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano that introduced "Bertha." It was a pretty decent match for its day, with Bull initially wiping the floor with Alundra but Blayze overcoming the intimidating lady wrestler and beating her, and then this HUGE woman comes out and DESTROYS Blayze. It's really a shame the WWE decided she was "too scary" and turned her into a comedic character. I really would've liked to have seen what Bertha could have done in her original gimmick. How could she be seen as "too scary" when one of the most popular wrestlers in 95 was an undead mortician who threw his opponents into caskets?
