It was also really fucking long. Like it was phenomenal but it was getting kinda stupid how dragunov just like… kinda made the moves feel pointless. It was like he looks strong enough there’s no need for him to make it feel like Walter was almost weak. Like this big ass guy can’t put a guy half his size down? I think a long match and just one pin attempt would have been better then 15 pins per minute.

Walter vs. Dragunov really was best in the empty arena era. You could hear every slap and even what they were saying and it really added to the match. Of course, it would be interesting also to see how the crowd will react and it would be nice to give them a live and spontaneous "this is awesome" chant that they really deserve. Only a few matches can claim to be perfect regardless of whether or not there is an audience watching live

Eh I was there for that live at the Barclay Center. The match did not feel too real; it felt like a typical Lesnar match, perhaps even on the lesser side of things as far as quality goes. The ending felt mildly real, but more confusing than anything. I think it gets too much hype because of the names and stage involved. People were ready to go home by the time the match even started!

Wrestling matches do need some form of realism to it. Those matches are usually the most memorable for a reason. It makes the guys in the ring look like they were really beating each other so it makes it feel real to us even though we know better otherwise. I am not saying it has to be a 100% real looking fight. You can exaggerate a bit for fun and if it is entertaining. Then their is making it too exaggerated by always performing big spots, finishers and flips with no good build up to them. In other words, don't be like an AEW match.

I dont like the shots being taken at mister cornette at times, be it that his opinion is a bit extreme at times, sure , but his opinion oftentimes imo is a better alternative than what actually happens on tv. he spoke very highly of some modern matches, he just enjoys a different brand of wrestling than what the major focus of the current product is usually, and thats okay, i'm in my 20's and i cant say I enjoy the current product, some of the matches he pointed out as his recent favourites are very outstanding to me in a positive way. I dont agree with him all the time but his opinion still carries a lot of value if you know how to take it. (That's my take at least, listening to his podcast for a few years by now while also watching some of cultaholics content and for almost a year now not watching any wrestling program anymore but still kinda staying involved on the side)
