Bovine milk has this HMO also. But dont assume commercial dairy you are buying at your market does. The bovine milk with HMO is new milk and collustrum. I have access to raw milk and collustrum because I own shares at a small raw dairy close to me.

The HMO in bovine milk is materially different from that in human milk actually.

Besides the clear difference in structure between Bovine MO and HMO, there is a big difference in amount: Human milk contains 5-20 g/L of oligosaccharides. Bovine milk only has 30-60 mg/L of oligosaccharides, a mere pittance in comparison. The next best thing after human milk would be goat colostrum at 200 to 650 mg/L.

How long does the excess gas take to settle after taking HMO’s? I started taking them and on about day 5 I had ALOT of gas. Had this for a few days then had to stop taking them. I have gone back on a lower dose now, just started today but wondered if there if there is a rough time scale for how long the gas should last. Thanks

Did you stop producing gas eventually? Or does flatulence reign supreme still?

I am currently in the process of testing this, tomorrow I will taste my first batch of L. Reuteri cultured dairy made with goat colostrum and 2'FL, the most common HMO added before the ferment. If it is successful I will use the SuperHMO powder together with the goat colostrum for the next batch which contains 2'FL, LNT, LNnT, 6'SL and 3'SL, 5 different HMOs

@@tvmcrusherI’m curious to know how your experiment went. Also if you can please share did you add this to the yogurt to make more. I did something similar with kefir but how to test if it worked? Are you making yogurt or kefir (because of temperatures), And where did you find colostrum? thanks
@tvmcrusher

@@cghrios783 Hey there, it went quite well after a few iterations. Adding the colostrum before fermenting showed poor results. Consequent batches with L Reuteri and SuperHMO combined with a tablespoon of acacia fiber and agave innulin fiber gave amazing results. Ever since those first batches, I have experienced most of the reported L Reuteri benefits in increasing amounts. Lean muscle gain with the same exertion level. Increased feelings of a positive nature towards myself and others. I have stopped making it for over a month now, but I feel like the benefits have mostly stuck with me. The HMO might be the factor that increases the rate of permanent colonization of the extended lumen. It is a fermentation with only Reuteri as the bacteria, I regularly mixed it with kefir and colostrum before consumption. Adding the goat colostrum before the ferment creates a mesh of protein that seems to inhibit the action of L reuteri, creating a stringy mesh that can block the ferment from completing fully. Doing it as described above yields a thick, creamy, and sour "yogurt" that can be used as a starter culture for the next batch. This is because there are only two strains that work in symbiosis. So, there is a very low chance of one becoming dominant over time. I used crushed gastrus tablets from biogaia, a tablespoon of acacia fiber, a tablespoon of agave innulin and 6 grams of SuperHMO in a yogurt maker with 750ml of milk and 250ml of cream mixed well and set to 37° C (human body temperature) for 36 hours. Feel free to ask any further questions, and be sure to tell me about your own experience!

Do you only get HMO in human mother's breast milk or is it present in animal milks like cows or goats milk?

@@LayerOriginNutrition Where do you source your HMO from? I realize it comes from breast milk but whose breastmilk are you using and how much of it do you source for this?
@LayerOriginNutrition
@LayerOriginNutrition 3 жыл бұрын
@@cheesecakefan4880 It does not come from breast milk. Our HMO is bio-identical to the HMO in breast milk and is created via a complex fermentation and precise purification process.
