Apparently NSW government charges extra on your registration X amount per litre (cubic inch) these days. A 12 litre engine doing a 15 litres job, here here 🍻

We have the X12 in the 4700 Western Star her in the States. I am quoting several of them now with the new Eaton “Endurant” transmission. Hopefully I can have a good report after the first of the year.
What does a bloke have to do to get an X12 around here!

Are they going to be more reliable than what they offer now?

Looking for a competent cost-effective clone X-12 from China to bootstrap development and marketing, with 3, 2 and perhaps even 1 cylinder models for everything from small sedans, jeeps, pickups, taxis, busses, offroad-equipment, generators, experimental small aircraft, military, tractors, medium and hvy-duty truck applications. Perhaps building and supplying a *modest 100,000 + engines per year to start, also filling re-power applications. It's *nice to see this 50's era opposed-cylinder engine technology further refined and developed to expand its fuel-efficiency potential. Further discussion of fuel-use and longevity would have been appreciated ~ but nice vid (for its time). Why the industry footdragging? The investment in large tooling and supply-chain costs?

jakes work best the more cubes there are,12, 14,16, 19l, the bigger the engine the more retarding, as jakes are turning your engine into a compressor

That Cummins Director bloke looks just like a fatter version of Benedict Cumberbatch.
