Growing up in India, I was lucky to have seen Zakir Hussain with the original lineup of Shakti with the mighty John McLaughlin, it is a phenomenal show, they almost played for four hours. I remember reading about you and your articles on Guitar Player magazine back in the eighties. It’s a huge loss for Hindustani classical music and the world at large. You are one of the few western musicians who actually understands how big of a talent Zakir was. Thanks for remembering your friend Henry and sharing your thoughts with us. God Bless you.
