I'm a longtime fan from your days on CNN and am still trying to catch your podcasts and shows on the CC Nation and NewsNation as often as I can. This particular video you have made here, I think, really demonstrates your personality and character and the thing that drew a lot of us to your show on CNN. I have always been impressed with people who honestly try to "tell it like it is," but do so with a message of learning and encouragement. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck in this current career stage! As a professional who is less than happy with my career while struggling to get through the last five years until retirement, and also someone who has recently been diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening disease for which I am being treated currently, a video like this really hit home for me and helped remind me of the things that are really important versus the things that are really best ignored and not allowed to get in one's way. I am going to bookmark it and rewatch it as needed for inspiration when those tough days come along and get in my way. Thank you so much for your insight.

Chris, If it is of any comfort. You were the last CREDIBLE JOURNALIST in the media. There are a couple of ANALYSTS left, but that's about it. The only one I watch and look forward to read is FRANK FIGLIUZZI (msnbc). I'm grateful to you and your brother for your PODCASTS. The INFORMATION SHARING makes you unique. You bring honor to your family name, profession & education. Thank you. WE ALL NEED TO DO THE WORK!

Good morning I know you say you don't like compliments, neither do I. I have been talking to a dear friend and our take on you. What has happened to know has made you more humble. You are really a very sweet person who is down to Earth. Keep being you, we like you this way. I am sure you have always been sweet and funny. But, you have a new view on life. You are making a difference in yourself and with all of us! Thank you!

Thanks for explaining your struggles and why you are so hard on yourself. I was raised by a grandmother who was a strict Greek Orthodox disciplinarian. She used violence, torture and abusive conduct to enforce God’s will, because that is how she was raised. She never said she loved me, respected me, or even valued me, so when her voice was silenced after her passing, my inner voice took over to keep her words alive. Like you, with the help of a higher education, great friends, therapists, physicians, and self-help professionals, I discovered tools and strategies to help me affect positive change. I not only learned to love myself, I learned to like myself and respond to myself as I would a beloved friend. I learned to nurture myself as I do to my children and others. I learned to laugh at my short comings and became more conscious and mindful at my negative self-talk. You are right … it’s hard to love others …when we don’t respect, love ourselves and finally, discover that we are as amazing as those who lift us up and hold us near in their hearts. When we learn how to lift ourselves up, and hold ourselves near our hearts along with all those we love and nurture … life truly can become heaven on earth. Love to see how you keep growing, evolving and carving out a path that lifts your own spirit as well as the millions who’s lives you touch by expressing both your vulnerabilities and strengths. I hope you can see how beautiful you are on the inside as well as on the outside. 🙏

Chris, one of the hardest lessons I’ve learned in life is to forgive yourself. I could eventually forgive others for the wrongs or hurts to me. However the what or should or could I should have done ran over and over in my head until I started to forgive myself in the situation. I realized I did the best I could have done within that time frame but once I forgave myself true deep healing started. I am now wiser and will continue to learn so that I do not see myself in that same situation. You are correct you can only control what you can control. You’re on the right path, I wish you all the success , peace and healing and all the hard won and fought wisdom to come.

Hey Chris. I appreciate you. Your line of work since your days in New Day when I first started seeing you. I knew you were someone with so much passion in seeking the truth and justice into the day to day situations. Your track record just goes above and beyond. And I really encourage you to keep concentrating in those strengths that resonate from you, in all aspects of your life that both people from opposing parties recognize about you. Guilt, emotional pain... Make peace with it. Give a call to those you left behind in bad terms and just pour your heart out. You won't feel like you're walking on broken glass anymore. I try myself to do the same with one of my past friends, if he'd only pick up the phone. But we give our sincere effort and that's what counts

Thank you Chris for being so bold and honest with your story. I don't know, but this specific talk really resonated with me. I went through something similar years ago, and it too was hard and often unkind. However, what I ultimately learned was that it was for my best. And I am better because if it. So, I say the same to you. Your metamorphosis is building you to be a stronger version of yourself in the end. And you too will look back and smile with gratitude.

Ordered AG1 and have been drinking it for two weeks. Gritty but otherwise okay. Great subject today. What I was taught or read somewhere is that in order to break a bad habit or behaviour pattern it has to be replaced with a alternate pattern at least seven times in order for your brain to change from an old habit to a new one. As a past fellow self-effacing human, I believe it's a phase ppl go through when faced with a challenge that rocks you off balance. Now, as a senior I don't care anymore about what I had thought, how other ppl were judging me, so that's all in the past. Get through the challenge and it will be in your past. Have faith. But keep working at whatever the challenge. You are an intelligent man. A good family man. I don't personally know who you are, but opening up about your own human frailties and successes only proves my judgement is correct. Love these conversations, albeit one way. Until I add my 2 cents. Thanks for the laughs because I can so relate to everything you have said. It's all so true.

I don't know Chris Cuomo and he certainly doesn't know mw. We watch/listen to someone and think maybe their life must be perfect, scary smart, excellent journalist, beautiful family, drop dead handsome, and a soul. Then, we watch/listen to @Chris Cuomo and hear that his life is not perfect, but we admire him even more because he makes a good life and strives to be better. I became a fan years ago, because of what one little girl said. The Cuomo family was being interviewed because Chris was changing his tv appearances. His youngest daughter was asked if she thought having her dad at home more would make him a better dad and, in an instant, she popped up with "My daddy is always a good daddy." This, from a tiny little girl. That's it, this man is real.

He hates my values. I would do anything to talk this out- to see myself through his eyes, but he goes away. And I cry for my new granddaughter. I miss her. I honestly don’t want to get out of bed. I don’t know how to move past this. I feel like dying. I cry out to God. I need prayers and help. Thank you for you message today-I needed it. Peace. ♥️

I too have been there with my older children, and I feel for you. Do not think that your son's behaviour towards you marks you as 'not a good person'. That is his own 'stuff', part of his own journey towards who knows where. OF COURSE you are a good person - your cry from the heart shows a deeply feeling, caring and loving mother. Times change and we change. Time passes, nothing lasts for ever. Feel the joy in life - yes, there is truly awful pain and you are going through it . Accept it all stoically. Vibe your son and his little daughter with your love, and turn your face to the light. You're a beautiful lady.

Chris - GREAT BROADCAST TODAY!!!!! Everything you said is TRUE. You have to love and respect yourself and - "KIS" - KEEP IT SIMBLE.. I am older than you and have NEVER BEEN ON SOCIAL MEDIA - TOO DAMN TOXIC!!!!!!! We clearly don't need any more toxic environments. You are an extremely loved individual because you have morals, standards and values, esp when it comes to your family. The old saying goes - when a door shuts another BIG ONE OPENS. So their loss - "F" them - and News Nations GAIN. I watch every nite along with millions of other viewers and if I can't it's taped. Your fans love having you back. Remember that years ago the Dalai Lama said one of the things he could not understand in western culture and society was the concept of "self loathing". He said this was completely absent among his people in Tibet and had to work to understand what this meant and how it could exist. It might be interesting to research this a little bit Because he is a very wise man.

Chris Cuomo, I am so glad to see and hear you're back, again, doing the most honest, honorable thing that you could come up with. This video said a lot of things I needed to have reinforced, and it is going to help SO many people. I followed you and your brother during the days that were very dark for me in 2020, 2021, and when you both got blindsided by the most modern of moral sensibilities, you both lived with and admitted your flaws, but at the same time, by the most ancient of moral codes baked into human DNA, both of you did your best to do the right thing. ... ... Blessings on you and may it all come out for the best for you.

Chris, I am amazed to hear you say that you are a self loather. How can this happen som, articulate man be self loathing? That said, I know that you were treated badly at CNN, a place where you worked and gave your all. I am on disability because physically my health is not great and I am always in pain and have been through some major surgeries. You have motivated me to try my best to obtain a part time job. I may not physically be in a place where I can work full time and I do have physical constraints, but working even part time would help to improve my mental status and finances as well. Chris you look and sound great. You were traumatized by the last year. It’s bad timing when you’re nearing or at midlife and you’ve always worked. But you’ve acknowledged what occurred and you’ll come back stronger than ever. I’ve been there, terminated from employment after 30 years and buried 2 husbands. But after awhile, I accepted and realized, so much was out of my control and I had to move on because there was no alternative. Life is full of hills, valleys, bumps in the road, and if lucky, periods of smooth sailing. I think you’re on the smooth sailing track now, so enjoy it.

Worry less of what to call it and focus on what is working instead. And whatever you feel is to be simply experienced fully, then it loses its grip on you. It's often our resistance to negative emotions that make us feel stuck, rather than letting it be like a wave passing through. I learned this when I grieved my mother and literally was lying on the floor crying and realising that this was grief. Then I learned to recognize my own process and let it pass through over the years. A good book about it is "The Language of Emotions" by Karla McLaren that confirmed my experiences. Stay well! (I have a theory on ppl with many followers, btw, who often seem to not feel happy, it's God's way of sending you so many to validate you because of your need.)

Thanks Chris for being a real human person and sharing your real human struggles. It helps us all to know we are not alone battling that part of ourselves that keeps us from what we know is best for us and all 💜

When you were fired at CNN for moral clause by the boss and his female executive when they were in a relationship and by the way they were married to other people...talk about moral clause... they were fired weeks later. Please fight for what is right regarding you. I'm here for it!

Christopher Cuomo. I love your tenancy . You are not arrogant but honestly and brave. Late Norman Pale the preacher. Quoted Abraham Lincoln. I do the best l know the best l can. If people don't agree with Its me , not even 10 Angels would save me from there criticism. Her again ls Dr. Phil Mcgraw The best a man does is what he does when nobody is watching. Just be faithful to you or to yiur God. The best judge who can see through the inner you. Stand like the brave with the face to the foe 💯. Fall and rise. Stumbled and kept moving. You lost your job at CNN, but because God wanted to move on to a higher ground. If in the near future you ever want and need to go back. God will lead you back there. . We still enjoy you as Christopher. Amen

Good heavens! Issues raised here so achingly familiar, such refreshing honesty. These in themselves make the podcast very encouraging & causing deep introspection. I feel as if I will need to listen again and again to hoist me out of future deep ruts. Are you exploring the; possibility that this (motivational speaking/mentoring/counselling) as well as journalism may be your true calling? Thanks for this motivational 'pick me up' 🙏
