Omg this made me cry. I watched it by chance right after his dad's death announcement video. Minus hat and glasses, it's alex! ! I know ur tickled that u went on this trip and documented it. I feel privelidged to be let in on ur life and the pleasure of "meeting" ur daddy, and hear his stories. I can easily see why u loved him so so much, and where u got ur calm, sweet spirit and zest for life from! Much love, Daria❤💙💚💛💜

Not sure why but that Fraternal Order of Police badge at 10:40 caught my eye! My father was a member! He was retired PD after 21 years of service! Thought it was only based in the USA... also when my Pop's passed away I felt so empty and lost...when my mother passed 10 years later I felt and still feel completely orphaned!

The short "telephone" poles would likely be old teletype lines, that were often following the railway lines. Utilities like power and telephone don't build off road, along railway tracks, too difficult to maintain.
@andie28095 жыл бұрын
Oh and as for the short telephone poles...if it's near a field that still gets crop dusting that may be why.. or it may be a dirt strip they land on...I'm not sure just my thought as a pilot myself

Facca Bello!!They say buy what YOU like and chances are people will like it! I proved this myself. I owned and operated an Antique/Gift shoppe in my town for 13 years and it held true!! It was MORE than just a shop! The door was always wide open, even in November and December! I had 2 Pianos in there and gave lessons. I mentered young adults (some who unfortunately were addicted, but got better having someone there they could talk to that they trusted) It became a gathering place for locals and people from a distance as well! I'm extreamly greatful for the experience!! Like you, i loved going on the hunt for new additions to my ever increasing inventory! People would always ask me, "What do you sell the MOST of" And i would answer, "Literally some of everything!! The end of April this year (19) i'll be out of my shoppe 3 years! Time goes fast and now it's all about teaching and performing Piano(my first love) I'm a collector first and formost! People told me when i had the shop.... "Y'll either be a collector or a dealor" I've always remained both!! I love your videos and the love that you have for your family and the ways you demonstrate that you truely CARE about the welfare of people(like Adam) Living this way you will always be BLESSED!! Peace, ernie 🎼🎹🎶🎵😀

Ah that's nice, actually a good song too. We all feel like orphans once our parents pass. You just don't know how much you will miss them until it's too late. The world instantly becomes a colder place 'cause there is no one now on the planet who loves us like that. You realize that you are now the holder of the flame, the guardian of the family, the holder of memories and the story of your family etc. It's a big adjustment. Memorializing your father with a song is a beautiful thing to do. I'm sure that He would love it :-)

Arty ScienceGal I'm not sure of Alex's religious beliefs, but to me, his daddy IS loving it, and CAN see his son from somewhere up there. Great comment. Death is not the end, but enjoy time on the planet while we're here!

I can't believe you skipped the glass jar of old marbles at 5:47. Aggie shooters, rare color combos/designs, & Steelies bring $$ as far as old shooters like me are concerned. I would privately cry after losing my favorite marbles in a cut-throat game

The "bike in question is a a 1970s Raliegh Chopper the original from England its a legend not the up to date copy.If your hipand happening on the scene you had a fox tail atached to the rear of the seat (fake hopefully or faux for those born after 1990!).The base bike was a Budgie followed by a Tomahawk simular frame smaller no gear shift.

Americans basically stopped hitchhiking after a 15 year old girl had both arms chopped off by the driver who picked her up and left her for dead. She was seen walking down the highway in shock, naked with severed arms. If she hadn't been taken to the hospital in time, she would have bled to death. I believe this happened in 70s. To this day (2019), I do not recall ever seeing anyone hitchhike since that time. I may have but I certainly do not remember and some still may but it is as common as it once had been.

It's always so sad to see any historic buildings burn hopefully they can be rebuilt if the damage is not to severe. A 107 year old home caught fire in Vancouver worth $14 million and they said it may be a writeoff.
