You have to use the wet/dry mode first and then dry mode only for the plates to heat and it will be sleek! Try it!,,

Do your plates get hot in wet mode? Mine do, so I'm trying to figure out if that is normal, or if mine is faulty.

My husband got me this for Christmas.. when i opened the box.. i was like what the fuck.. its so big on my hand.. i didn't like it.. but, I'll give it a try.. he said it was expensive.! All i want is small flat iron. But, he got me this piece.. i hope ill like it.

I thought you were suppose to use it in wet mode, then go to dry . Why not use the brush first?

There’s wet/dry mode, and just dry mode. I used wet/dry mode first to see if it would work as well as other people said it has on their hair especially since I have curly hair and have only seen girls with straight hair use it. I was hoping to not need to use the brush at all, but the flat iron in wet/dry mode didn’t work well enough for me unfortunately, I’m assuming because I moved through it too quickly. But yes usually I would only use a blow dry brush. I don’t like my hair pin straight.
