Its your hair girl do as you want Ruth it. I straighten my hair every couple months more often in the winter but I don’t use a flat iron. I just use a round brush and hair dryer. I wait until my hair is damp instead of soaking wet and then blow it out. I used to flat iron it but I like body and slight curl I get from a blow out and feel it’s less damaging to my hair.

People told me that I should detangle in the shower (when I found out about the CGM) but I suffered major hair loss because of that... I stopped listening to others and now I brush my hair before washing it and I shed a normal/tiny amount of hair. Even my cousins wondered why I don’t shed much when I brush it. That’s how it works for girls with thin and fragile hair
