@@Amrgoated he did duck ngannou. Sat out teasing that he would return to the heavyweight division and as soon as ngannou got it, he immediately kept quiet and took 3 years off. Only when ngannou left, jones came back to fight an easy stylistic match up in gane. If anything is double champ status is fraudulent because he never beat the best heavyweight at any point in time. I said most blatant robbery in title fight history and most champions ducked which is true. Provide me an example that debunks this.

I can’t believe you’re looking at Jones’s stats and taking them at face value. There are endless caveats. You can’t come away from this Stipe win thinking that it further validates Jones’s claim to being HW champ or p4p number one or GOAT. It does the opposite. It proves that he’s scared of Aspinall and Ngannou and has spent his career doing everything in his power to not play fair.

@@Aburner960 The first criterion when scoring a fight is damage. Takedowns depend, controlling time or forward pressure should be considered when the numbers of damaging significant strikes are equal.

@@harshatomas835 This is a misconception. Nowhere in the UFC rulebook is "damage" a criteria. It says effective striking and/or grappling. Effective can mean damage but it can mean other things as well. As for who won the fight, it's pretty clear. Ruffy landed cleaner, more powerful strikes, and set up a number of outstanding combos. The no look left hand shovel uppercut that swelled up Llontop's eye was a thing of beauty. Llontop had volume, but missed a lot, got countered very easily and was in real danger multiple times. Ruffy may have been outlanded, but at no point was he ever in danger.

Instead of talking about Tom aspinall it would be more interesting to break down how Jon Jones looked in his second heavyweight fight. Everybody knows about the Tom aspinall situation so it would be more interesting to break down his possible next opponent. You look much faster than he did against Cyril Gane and he came in lighter which is probably good. He looked slow against Cyril. He didn't look that slow in this fight. I don't know who would win in their fight. Jones is the better wrestler but he likes to fight guys in their specialty so he may screw up and go out there and try to strike with Tom. If he did that he'd probably lose but if he wrestled he'd probably win because even though Tom is a decent wrestler you can't replace all those years of organized wrestling training that Jon Jones has.. I think it's too close to call.😊
