I'm impressed, normally I'm not a fan of all-in-one units but this one is quite nice.

I like this guy he explains programming so easy. I will be watching more. I’m putting in a system now. He has been very helpful.

Very easy to follow. Havent ever used that brand before. I do know i keep watching all these different installs of these invertors and still nobody says if the grid is required or optional. The 6000xp is supposed to be off grid but all I ever hear about is connecting the AC input. There was one person who said something about using a power station that has a 240 input as your ac input and charging it with solar. I just want something that works without the grid and can recharge from solar. Might tie in a power station to be able to have a way to charge during extended cloudy days and the like.

Great video, thank you! Helps to have someone around to do the heavy lifting. You didn't even break a sweat!

Bought this exact setup from you guys.. looking forward to future videos. Hoping I can expand the system to two inverters and another 3 eg4 indoor wall mount batteries to finish out the system as cash comes in.

Thanks Dexter, good stuff. There needs to be more videos on the internet like this! 👍

I thought the video was great. Well organized and well spoken and lots of right to the point features instead of "filler". I would like some clarity on the battery attachment to the inverter. You connected two 3/0 battery cables to a single stud. What is the inverter's maximum charge and discharge capacity since it only has a single stud while Sol-Ark 15K and 18kPV have two positive and two negative? Another question: Does Midnite only offer programming via the inverter screen or a phone screen? Many inverters are outdoors in California and the bright sunshine makes it very hard to clearly see these screens on an inverter or phone. Is there browser access from a PC? Does the app currently offer a full menu of TIME of USE controls by the 24 hours as well as by the individual days of the week? Is there generator support? In my case, I would require 2 inverters and 4 batteries. That's a lot of exterior wall space. Is there an approved slab type setup yet?

Very informative video, thank you. Is it possible to find out if this unit is built/assembled in the U.S like other Midnite products?

This looks nice. Curious on your thoughts . Run some load test etc. Wish midnite solar would still film youtube videos. And show us their products . Many installers around USA i bet dont get to the new product shows

What batteries can I use with the Midnite Solar AIO "The One" to achieve Closed- Loop Communication?

Do you know if you can set export limit and when you force discharge of batteries, will it also export to grid, adhering to the limit provided I have a grid interconnection agreement?

What is the idle power draw on this unit compared to the eg4, and the new growatt 10k that just dropped? Leaning towards Midnite personally. But eg4 was 2nd on my list, and the new Growatt dropped and looks promising.

Why you hooked 4 cables connected with the battery and the inverter?
@CurrentConnectedАй бұрын
Because one set of cables is not sufficient for carrying the current that this inverter needs. With two cables on each, the proper amount of current can be carried.

@@CurrentConnected Yeah, I get that. You ever run a headless computer and the KVM or Remote connection broke and something has gone wrong on that computer? I really like what I am seeing so far in this inverter but standing on my tip toes or craning my head back is gonna be annoying. 😂

Why does it take two positive and negative battery cables for one battery or is the battery designed that way? Before you laugh at me remember the only stupid question is the one not asked 😂
@gregandersen84753 ай бұрын
I think it splits the current across multiple lines vs. having one fatter cable that would be harder to bend and likely more expensive or source. I hear ya, good question. I can't get over why the positive terminals are orange instead of red. I've just never asked the stupid question!
