I bought one off Reverb from Ryan Fowlers Guitar Experience. I was going to send it back because I misunderstood what the pedal was for. Emailed Cusack effects and they talked me into keeping it. It’s an odd guitar pedal but using mild settings sounds nice. Had it now for a couple of years. The owners manual is from 7/21/2011. Thank you for the video. You added good understanding to the information about this pedal.

I put those rubber o-rings on my pedals too because they keep me from accidentally kicking my settings with my foot when I'm sloppily dis/engaging pedals on my board but the added turning resistance isn't too much that I can't change the settings if i want to in that moment either. It's been a great quality of life improvement for me, so I wonder if they're on that pedal for the same reason or something else like you mentioned

If possible do a tear down of a Stratocaster wired pickguard. Even if the design is super simple

The change in volume probably comes from change of surface area under the curve which relates to the power of the signal.

Thanks for another great teardown. I'd bet the LDR is actually here to change the gain based on waves coming from micricontroller.

Interesting. Great Idea, I can really see the potential for a really inspiring musical use for this. Also, do you think it's possible the optocouple is driving the gain-throb effect just like an optic ttrem? Maybe I'll regret typing this before finishing the video, but it seems the most obvious thing to my amateur eyes.
