I really want to see rockingham back on the schedule. Maybe they could try the electric cars there in combination with the trucks and xfinity. Not saying I really want the sparky’s but it wouldn’t affect the regular cup schedule….. just a thought.

I’m still shocked that Gene kept a charter. Did not know how important NASCAR was that big for him. I read an article that he has so many customers in the sport that he has to be there and will sponsor the car with HAAS all year. I’ve also wondered if any long time sponsors stay: Rush, Mobil 1, Code 3. And the new sponsors like Overstock and Auto desk, Sunny D. Will be interesting. I hope some go with Josh Berry to the 21, with Bass Pro most likely going with Gragson.

This isn’t new. I heard this 2 weeks ago about Custer going back to cup. I think I would’ve chosen another driver because Custer just isn’t cut out for the cup series. All he did was get ran over last time.

@@kharnthebetrayer1575 Well, to be fair, central NC is not Florida in February and the closest hotel is a 20-30 minute drive. So they took the dates away and they went to big market cities which I think was a big part of what caused a huge chunk of fans to say eff NASCAR. The cycle starts over as soon as it’s said “nobody is supporting Rockingham enough to even keep the grass cut”. With that mindset already, the Busch Clash wil be indoors in LA forever! That what you want? Lol I wish a Bristol night race was a big deal again.

Hey Bologna, Hass originally wanted the #4 back when he started the team but Morgan-McClure wouldn't let him have back in 2002, so I'm guessing I will either be #4 or 00 in the CUP Series. But both the 00 Xfinity & Cup cars could be identical in Hass Tooling graphics & both #00 since that's was the main reason for Hass keeping those teams to promote his company instead of selling everything. I would guess the 2nd Xfinity car will stay #98 but no clue if Riley Herbst & Monster will stay or he'll move to 23XI for 2025 to run CUP.

If Rockingham does come back for the Cup Series 2025, will that replace either Darlington 1st date or Kansas 1st Date? Another Rumor from Matt from Brakehard that if Rockingham comes back then it could be for the lower series for 2025 for both Truck & Xfinity Series maybe during either Easter Saturday maybe a Double Header while Cup series get a bye week or on same week Cup Series goes to Mexico. The other option is if Rockingham does come back for the Cup Series in 2026 instead of 2025, will it replace Phoenix 1st date in 2026?

Sorry but that's gonna be a hard sell for The Rock or Bowman Gray for The Clash in early February, North Carolina can be kinda cold depending on the weather but it has been almost 70 too in February in NC & SC too, I'm in upstate SC. You need dependable 70 degree weather to draw a good crowd. I've heard more talk about Bowman-Gray Stadium bc it's nickname is The Madhouse & Nascar wants an exciting short track for the Clash. Time will tell!!!

@@GrizzlyJ.Ranger True but The Rock & Atlanta had problems being early on the schedule too, remember Atlanta being delayed bc of snow too. But remember this was the earlier days of NASCAR when it was "Good ole Country Boys" sport & NASCAR wasn't trying to appeal to the business tie wearing community & upper classes like they are now by pushing to have races near or in big cities like the Chicago street circuit race. It's probably too cold at The Rock in late February for city folk!
