Custom G.I. Joe U.S.S. Flagg Aircraft Carrier

Custom designed USS Flagg aircraft carrier with added play value.
The anchors go up and down, there's a bridge, conference room, radar/ flight deck operations room, sleeping quarters, sick bay, cafeteria, and brig.
Below the flight deck is a hangar bay, and the rear of the ship opens to launch the W.H.A.L.E and two devil fish.
On the side of the ship there's a pneumatic torpedo launcher that really shoots three torpedoes one at a time.
I took the original toy design an added more but still tried to keep the same look.
It's all wood and only the stickers and anchors are from the original FLAGG toy.
I never got one as a kid and there was so many things I thought were missing on the toy that I decided instead of buying an old toy that was missing parts to just make one that I wanted the way I wanted.
It's about the same length but about 12 inches wider.

It just so happens there is a small ventilation shaft that leads to the bridge and pretty much all conversations are overheard by the prisoners but they won't be able to escape..... right??

😲🤯 I like to customize some things, but... the league has been defined.

There are a few customizers who may motivate, or shame me into finishing certain stalled projects. I have a half-done Brainwave Scanner, and most components for the Springfield Museum, makeshift laboratory for the Serpentor Project, have the individual 'aquariums', (not assembled onto an inclined slab, yet) the occupants, the various historical corpses, including comatose Storm-Shadow (still need to make his circular shallow tank). I have a mostly completed simulacrum tank, and faceless adult-fetal Serpentor (who can appear to be floating in fluid) but still need to complete the upper domes and viewscreen for the Brainwave Scanner (I have plans to make removable cards for the readout, it's going to take perfecting) hoses and electrical connections to the DNA tanks, the breakaway display case for the snake helmet, an overall control panel, and backdrop (sort of matte painting representation of the surrounding display room of the museum, in the style of some of the Star Wars playsets)

These are actually part of wave two of the G.I. Joe super 7. These figures don't have elbows and knees that bend but they made a lot of never before made figures. Check it out this link.... super7.com/collections/gi-joe-collection

This is one of the better custom Faggs that I've seen. I'd love to do one myself some day. Only problem is, some of the Joe jets, such as the Phantom X-19 & Sky-Strikers take up quite a bit of space on the deck. I'm thinking, I need at least 10' long & 4.5' at it's widest point. Plus, I'd like at least 3 levels for figures & vehicles.

Sure! The Rah 66 was my favorite helicopter since I saw it in popular mechanics magazine back in the 80s and I always hoped that G.I.Joe would get one. I was so excited to find one in this scale that I bought three. They aren't the best for 3 3/4 figures but you get what you get. It came from the Jurassic park 3 movie toy line some time ago.
