What part of the catch can has baffles ? Looks like the oil that comes out of the head will come right out ! No plates or steel wool mesh installed is no good . Nice welding tho and fab work .

You’re thinking of an air-oil separator, where baffles are for a closed system returning separated air back into the engine, but without the octane-reducing blowby sludge. This setup is an old school “breather box” venting that gunk to atmosphere, which stinks (especially in summer) but works quite well. This is the first adequate breather setup I’ve seen with all the -10 fittings. You can’t overdo crankcase ventilation but most setups drastically underdo it and end up with both excessive pressure behind the pistons and garbage sludging up the intake (reducing inter cooler efficiency, and the oil mist itself is quite low octane). For these reasons a stout breather setup is a win-win.
