Custom Zero Tolerance ZT 0562CF Knife with Choil Mod

Yeah Rob definitely knows his stuff and has a great channel. He did really nice work on it too. I've also always thought the ZT 0562CF needed a choil. Nice video.

Thanks Jon, just got my ZT0562CF perfected by Rob over at Apostle P - the knife is as it should be now :) Also I got some blue barrel spacers from MXG Gear. Slicey goodness!

mine has the flipper tab jimped and all the hardware blue anodized, one of the nicest ZT models produced.

You should look at the new Gen 6 Hinderers if you like that 0562CF; they come on bearings now, have a perfectly dialed in detent, a lock bar insert, and are in 20CV now. I got started on Hinderer with the 0562CF, but the current Hinderers blow it out of the water for build quality, action, and smoothness. Great video though!

Love ZT design and quality, wish they experimented more with alternate locking mechanism, I hate framelock. As to the choil, guess it depends on what you do, for me, doing a lot of rope cutting(underhand mostly), it's a big nono.

you know, i agree on the apostle p. ordinarily i wouldn't tune in to a channel that has a religious or political axe to grind, but he's worth the minor discomfort for his excellent reviews/takes. i don't care for this modification, but to each his own--it sure looks well done! i have a shaman if i need the choil, and would carry both if i went into the woods.

I had a 0562 and sold it.. It was almost the perfect knife but I just can't get into ZT's.. I don't like choils but the mods came out good...The Apostle P know knives as good as anyone.. But, I don't like listening to the religious BS.. I've been clean/sober for many years but belong to a program of attraction NOT promotion..He sold some knives for someone a few years back.. During the video, he went on and on about it being a one time thing and he was just a review channel..Now, that's almost all he does is sell knives on consignment..Not a fan...

Yeah. The knife was really a great knife. I just also can not get into ZT's. Rob at ApostleP really is a bit of an encyclopedic mind for knives and knife history. I still enjoy his channel and just tune out religion or politics on anyone's channel really if they ever come up. So Rob really doesn't bother me at all when it comes up. Thanks for watching!
