The second one where the bananas thrown at Preston, was both insulting and hilarious. As far as smoothie is concerned, it can contain yoghurt too alongwith milk. Sometimes they put icecream that can be blended with the milk in a smoothie.

When I was in college, I went to a banquet and had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. I had never had it before and didn't know what it was. I just didn't like the other choice. I cut into the chicken and saw the pink and thought it was under cooked too.😅 I tried to get my dorm mate's attention to show her and she was trying to ignore me thinking that I was joking until I got louder and she had to tell me that it was ham😂. I was embarrassed! But after that I ate it and it was pretty good.

Most commercial kitchens avoid glass baking dishes to reduce breakage. I doubt if Chef even has one, but charging her would be sweet.

It is almost as important for a server to know that wheat flour contain wheat proteins as it is for any customer who wants to avoid it. Good thing it wasn't an actual allergy. "I'm only deathly allergic to peanuts, but peanut butter is fine." Same energy.

The issue that people are referring to with "picking out fish bones" is not actually skeletal bones, but pin bones which are actually calcified nerve endings. Skeletal bones in fish are usually in one piece and don't need any picking.

The "I don'teat gluten" reminded me about a reply I saw a short while ago on a comment about lactose intolerance and the original commenter used a few dairy products (milk, cheeses, yoghurt and such)and the reply was how "from those listed only milk contained lactose" and when called out doubling down with "I am lactose intolerant and eat cheeses and yoghurt every day" ... nah mate.. you are not lactose intolerant.

Preston has less idea of what foods exist than people who don't even go to restaurants. Like he obviously doesn't know what a smoothie is and doesn't know what chicken cordon bleu is, he doesn't know what the word poultry means. There has to be a certain bottom level of knowledge to work in a restaurant. At the very least they should need to know what the options on the menu mean.

Its very easy to remove bones if you're filleting the salmon. But if its a whole salmon cooked you obviously can't do that.

Wouldve liked to see milk given to customer and reaction. I knew he would ask for chicken after not wanting quail. As a kid i would say i want my burger well done and not burnt. Then i learned medium well. So i order medium well.

And the customer in the video could very well be correct if she was trying to eat a portion of salmon fillet tor which the chef had done an inadequate job of removing the pin bones. Prepared correctly, salmon fillet should be boneless or very nearly so.
