I love how farms are so resourceful and their ability to reuse and repurpose items to make them work for their operation. Great video. Keep up the hard work on finding these great pieces of equipment.

We made a homemade sprayer out of a K2 gleaner. The throat was the height control and the grain tank was removed and made into your chemical tank. It may of only had 45 foot booms if I remember right.

It topped of a great day of filming. I though shortly before filming this the only think that could make this day better would be a green Steiger and this turned up.

I realize there are no hills, but whats it like with the tank riding up high like that? In PA Ive seen/heard about pull type sprayers throwing themselves down the hill.
@fowletm1992 Жыл бұрын
Pull type sprayers are always unstable, 90% of their weight is in the liquid so it totally dictates their behaviour, self propelled and particularly this one has alot of components like axles abd engine down low to counter the liquid

@@keenankelley187 modern sp high clearance sprayers have a wider stance to begin with not to mention the ability to move your tires out ever further with the push of a button so no.
@adrianchetwynd1334 Жыл бұрын
@@keenankelley187 looks like the centre of gravity is very high compared to a commercial sprayer. Also being articulated can be hazardous whilst turning on hillsides. Commendable conversion but only for self use.

The good news here this area is flat as flat can be. They have to plow ditches across the field after it is planted to move water off after a rain so it will not sit across the entire field after a heavy rain.

Tennesse, Missouri and Arkansas have been filmed at in the past year. I have posted 2,318 videos as of today. I try to cover as much farming as possible.

Wo bekommt der Fahrer saubere Atemluft her? Die Bilder am Anfang zeigen doch deutlich den Unsinn dieses Konzepts.

Front spray booms are common in the United States. The application is at ground level and the tractors filters are set up to keep the cab air clean. Here is a video on a Miller 120ft front boom Sprayer I filmed in corn a few years ago kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4SQhXaMorBnjcU
