you guys should totally do more decoden and make your own cream. its easy to make with store bought silicone caulk and you can make your own colours, even use transparent silicone!

I wonder if you could use an alcohol based coloring but I don’t know how it would look mixed together or if the silicone would reject the alcohol like it does with water. I wouldn’t use anything water based. Acrylic coloring would work perfectly im sure

I LOVE using decoden on every case I have - phone case, tablet case, ect. I like making my stuff look fun and cute while customizing it so it can't be mistaken for anyone elses. I both make and buy the sweet treat charms to put on mine or dig through the dollar toy bins looking for super tiny toys to use for these projects too.

You can absolutely do decoden with just regular silicone, you can color it with stuff like acrylic paint and glitter! I have some little resin heart charms I decod one side of and I love them a lot

I just used regular silicone and piping tips/bags and make a silicone icing boarder on my paintings 🥰 it’s one of my favourite parts of creating my pieces. Edit: omfg I almost commented that you guys forgot to sand it and then you remembered! WHEW!😂

I actually find these extended ads to be a bit insulting. I get we all have to make a living, but it feels like a make-work project to get that sweet ad dollars instead of a genuine project. I really like these two, but I want to see them do passion projects that challenge them, not just fluff phone cases every week to sell me a product.

@@crazylegsmurphy I think the totalboat sponsor is like, the only "extended ad" I like, mostly because it is something critical to their projects so it seems like it's a good enough quality for them to constantly use like this, and it's not also constantly brought up - it's just there. But this pixel one was bad. It gave a bad video quality and was constantly pushed throughout.

For example, I trust Adam Savage because when he tells me a product he uses is good, I know he is saying it because it is relevant and he uses it. Videos like this feel like the creators are more interested in paying for their giant closets than they are creating something awesome they are inspired by. Beating me over the head with a phone ad for 18 minutes doesn't convince me this is a product that I should consider and it kinda makes me not want to watch them. There are so many great creators out there that deserve views, I'm not sure I want to spend time watching ones that are just trying to sell me crap they don't actually use or care about.

Uncured resin is toxic, BUT!! Sophie & Toffee does have a form of resin that is squishy once it's cured. It's still a bit experimental and is therefore temperamental, but it can still make end products and they're always trying to improve it.

Fur has a wool like under coat which adds warmth. Wool has a crimp to it which helps it felt or stick to itself. 😊

Technically hair does that too. Unlike other mammals, human hair growth and shedding is random and not seasonal or cyclical. At any given time, a random number of hairs will be in one of three stages of growth and shedding: anagen, catagen, and telogen. So technically humans do shed. ( I have long hair that sheds all over the place, tangles in my fan, vacuum and drain).

At first I didn't even realize it was filmed on the Pixel camera. The "Shot on Pixel 7 Pro" caption was the first thing that gave it away.
