Customizing the GW-B5600 to Steel Band and Bezel

I got this set for my 5600 but the screw holes don’t align with the bezel. All of the other aftermarket metal bezels appear to have the holes in the same place. ???

Usually they sell two type, for 5600 and 5610. You might have gotten the one for 5610.

I googled the steps and seems that for the square model is straight forward. Only few screws. There are reseller here in Malaysia for custom parts. Else i would source from ebay/aliexpress or Tictox.com

@@CHAD-RYAN These are from the 3rd party sellers. The $500 u mentioned are the top of the line square gshock that comes with screwback (model number are GMW-B5000). The 5000 series screwback are usually abit more expensive than the 5600 ones. They are releasing a more affordable steel 5600 officially, refer to link below www.casio-intl.com/asia/en/news/2019/0717_gm-5600/

Thanks for this video. I was thinking about buying the blue face square with the negative display and getting the metal hardware for it. Did you have any issues with the multi band 6 working with the new metal bezel installed? Could it get the signal okay?

I got from AliExpress only one difference is your bracelet is mirror finish, all from AliExpress are brushed. Quality is amazing but I never seen on sale polished stainless steel bracelet :)

Does the metal bezel affect the volume of the G Shock alarm and chimes? Or is it just as loud as with the original bezel?

@@bikegeist Since this question, I got a GWB 5600 resin square, and a GMWB 5000 metal square. The chiming of the metal square is a bit more quiet than the fully resin square. But this may be due to the internal case also being solid steel.

i bought the ones for 5600. But i was told by the shop it could fit the 5000 and probably need to slot in the black sticker (in the video). I dont have a 5000 series at the moment to test.

@@HaireeHuzainee jujurnya sukar mahu mengenakan metal/steel band yang benar-benar cocok dengan warna dial hijau/biru/turqoise gw-b5600-1, apatah lagi warna silver yang menurut pandanganku tampak aneh. Ya terserah, selera (& tentunya uang) masing-masing.
